Wow this totally worked! I had a sort of separate process because I went into the specific modules and found the global windows open+close option and enabled so all I had to do was the first set of 0101 instructions you instructed in the AS BUILT section. After trying over and over, I saw somebody said they had to wait a few minutes, before it would work. We'll mine took at least 3 mins, then they finally worked. Wish I knew that in the first place.

Thanks - only hiccuo I had was on the DDM and PDM. I had to change the second boxes from 27 and 28 to 67 and 68. Not sure why they were different but....

Have you done a remote start in a ford that already has the factory perimeter security in it. Everything I am finding you need to get the perimeter plus but has a dealer parts department tell me it they would not work together. I’m trying to get remote start for a 17 explorer. Sorry for putting this in this video but I didn’t know where to ask it at and I see you have use Forscan on multiple vehicles including an Explorer. Thanks in advance for any help you could provide.

I have only done the factory remote start in an xlt f250 without the perimeter security. Not sure how it would work or what module controls the security

Worked first try on my 2019 Super Duty. Somehow "down" was enabled tbut the remote wouldn't roll them back up. Now they go both ways.

If you go to the module configuration (not the as built) it has the option for rear global windows. I changed everything for the global windows in the module configuration and it didn't work with the front ones. Do you know if the rear windows can do it too?

I believe there are 3 modules that need that change. I have only been successful at this via the As Built approach

Hey, can this be done on the non as built? I drive a 2018 Ford F150 using forscan v2.3.46 just don't feel comfortable switching numbers I'm sure I would mess something up.

question, have you tried anything recently? i had done the global windows 2 years ago, now I am trying to do the Bambi mode on my focus st and it just says service interrupted.

Do NOT alter the AB data sheet for Bambi mode. It doesn't work (at least on my 2020), and it will most likely give you ghost messages in the IPC; low washer, or Drive mode Fault, etc. Simply go into the BCM menu (remember, NOT As Built), hit the play button, then scroll down the list and look for High Beams with Fog Lights, and select Enable. Don't forget to click Write, when done. Then, ignition OFF/ON cycle, and you're done.

I tried this on my 2020 F150, but unfortunately it just wouldn't work. I don't know if the type of keyfob makes any difference. I don't have the auto start fob. My keyfob only has 3 buttons, lock, unlock, and panic. I may give it a shot another time. I'd really like to get this feature to work. Update: took another shot at getting the global windows to work, and had success. For whatever reason, it takes the modules some time to adjust to the new programming. I'm not sure what that's all about, but it's definitely nice to get that feature going. As an aside, for anyone who may be interested in performing forscan mods, make sure you save the "as built" settings in any module you plan on tweaking before you start re-writing things. It'll save you a lot of headaches if you make a mistake, and need to reset back to factory settings.

Check out my other forscan videos. Once you connect there is a spot in the body control module to select led turn lights. This will stop the hyper flash

Up and down should be programmed at the same time. It's weird that one would work without the other

@@AutoDad If Todd doesn't have 'express' up function, then Global only works with the 'express' part of the window switch. So, if the window goes down without holding the switch, but not up, then Global will only work going down. For some reason, the Global Window function is tied to the auto up or down side of the switch, not the actual power side.

i just tried loading the modules on my 2018 XLT FX4 Offroad and its missing the DDM and PDM module for the global windows...i was only able to change the values on the 3 BCM modules....did i do something wrong when loading the modules? or does my truck just not have those modules?

I have another question may you help me, in my country the service center I visit last time they advise me to download new software or firmware for gear in their center and I ask them for different they answer that with new software the RPM while accelerate will change from 3000 to 2000 and so on for other advantages. Have a 2018 XLT sport 4x4 - tried to do the global window up/down from remote. It did not work, got an error from forscan about not being supported or something, when I tried to write the BCM 726-30-01 to 0101 and it would not write it 726-17-01 and 02 were fine. Has anyone else been able to set this in a 2018 XLT? any help would be appreciated

@@AutoDad I got my adapter today and plugged it in. Upon clicking the chip icon, it pulled up the ocs, rcm ic,tcm, and abs. But it did not pull up the BCM, DDM, and PDM. Is there any other way yo get to them? Or can I not access them?

Maybe on the older models you cannot access those three modules. I would try reconnecting and see if they show up. Make sure you have your license activated
