Love this beautiful place. A hidden treasure in downtown Fort Worth. Recently a nice young friend led me down the steps all the way to the bottom as I had not done that since 1990. It was so empowering to be standing at the base of all that rushing water.

This place was amazing over the weekend with A-Kon being held at the convention center. Just HUNDREDS of visitors and cosplayers hanging out and enjoying it, most for the first time.

Its beautiful, been there twice. But the stone steps are very narrow especially on the top, and people have to go down and come up the same effing way. Someone heavyset almost pushed me off with their heavy bulkiness while going down, and I was coming up. And there is always people standing on the step 3 from the top taking photos. If the City is reading this, please build another path of stone steps to make this enjoyable and less of a death trap!

I can't believe they haven't made it more safe than that. In 2004 4 people drowned there. An 8 year old fell in and they were trying to save her.
