I don't know if it's on switch but I don't think all three were on the Wii back in the day. As another humorous memory though, my mom really loved Tetris and she could kick the crap out of us in that game. That woman was amazing at the game and she played it so much, I kid you not, that the outline of the setting was burned into our TV screen. The goal was to get to the ant through a certain percentage of the maze by flipping the blocks. I enjoyed Dr Mario as well. Another one of my favorites you didn't mention was Yoshi. As for your number one game Tetris: no puzzle game will ever overtake that spot. Tetris is the all-time greatest puzzle game ever created.

As someone who loves the Lolo games - the US Lolo 2 was also mostly made up of levels that were in the Famicom Eggerland games. Lolo 3 is the first one to be (almost) entirely original. I say almost because they did sneak in a couple of levels that were first seen in the Famicom release of Lolo 1. Also - the two Lolo (not Eggerland) games for the Famicom are based on the US Lolo 2 and 3 respectively. Graphics, music, everything is identical. Even the passwords are the same. But, the levels are much harder in the Famicom ones. So if you've gotten to the point where you can beat the US releases in your sleep, give the Famicom ones a shot.

Not sure game show games really are puzzle games (save maybe Wheel of Fortune's hangman gameplay), but to each their own I suppose. These lists are subjective and all, but it is criminal that Palamedes isn't on this list. Anyone who hasn't played Palamedes and likes puzzle games needs to play Palamedes. ...Palamedes. I'm sure I could drone on about others, but one serious sleeper puzzle game on the Famicom is Shi Kin Jyo. That game is a jam, and nobody really talks about it. Seriously, Palamedes. Play Palamedes. You'll be happy that you played Palamedes.

Palamedes to me, is just irritating because you're mentally having to count which dice you want to throw. So it was distracting to me. Is there any logic for if you collect a few of the same? I noticed occasionally the action would stop and it would say like "5 line" or something.

Here’s what I don’t understand. Nintendo and Atari/Tengen go to court over who has the right to release Tetris for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Tengen releases their version first. Nintendo wins the lawsuit. Tengen is forced to recall all copies of their release of Tetris. Nintendo then releases an inferior version! Inferior because it lacks the amount of play options that the Tengen version has. Tengen’s version has 1 player, 2 players head to head, 1 player vs computer, 2 player co-op, and 1 player co-op with computer! Wanna play Tetris head to head with another human player? Better have a Nintendo Game Boy, the pack in game Tetris, a link cable, and a friend who also has all of the above if you don’t have a link cable. Wanna play head to head against the computer? Wanna play co-op with friend or with the computer on a Nintendo system? Tough 💩! Hope you bought Tengen’s Tetris before the recall.
@mikeburkhart83362 ай бұрын
Tengen had the rights to Tetris from the original programmer,Nintendo had the rights from the software company the programmer sold all rights to the game to. So legally,Tengen didn't have the rights to Tetris and Nintendo did, that's why Nintendo won the lawsuit.
