a few more: Monster in my Pocket, the ONLY Batman game I finished (there was a sprite swap called Batman & Flash), the OTHER Turtle games, 2 & 3 are easy beatemups! Panic Restaurant, I don't think I got to the end but it's surprisingly accessible later NES platformer... honorable mention: Contra and Super Contra WITH 30 LIVES CODE/HACK. We had that version on Famicom multicarts but you need to input code on downgraded NES version. It's not an easy game but with so many lives and continues it's doable for everyone. And fun. Other games I played as a kid where I couldn't beat anything at all and spent a lot of time in level editors are Lode Runner, Excitebike and Tank/Battle City, they're not that hard, but even if you can't play them normally, making custom levels where you can't lose is literally an option, anyone put armor all over your "home" eagle in tanks? Or Loder Runner stage where you just casually walked where you wanted? It's kind of amazing we had more games with level edit in 8-bit era than later, where consoles had more than half a byte of RAM.

The intro when you say youve played a tons of games doesnt fit when you put in a bunch of console games. Its probably more than me or the wider population played, but it seems like you actually havent played a ton of shooters when you put in a bunch of old console shooters and not include any modern multiplayer pc games. The intro is kind of nondescriptive in this case. Its also probably not the best thing to say to begin every video in general.

I mean, it's a hook that I've used to create multiple videos with over 50K views, it's just something I say. Also, I don't like modern multiplayer PC games, just really not my jam. I've dabbled in Warzone and Fortnite, but they aren't very fulfilling to me.

So it was around May 2020. I had obtained a Xbox with a couple of games for the very first time and Halo was one of the games I obtained. During that time, my girlfriend was pregnant with our daughter and my son noticed that I owned Halo and was excited about it and pushed me to play it. Now, I knew about the game, but was never a fan of it in the past and never cared for it. I finally gave in and played it and was blown away by it and it became one of the most memorable games that brings me back to that time my daughter was about to be born. Love Halo!

I am always an advocate for Star Wars Republic Commando. I'm a big Star Wars fan, and it was nice to see a FPS comparable to Halo with the brand. I loved the squad control system that lent itself well to great storytelling, which eventually made it into the Halo series too. On top of that it stood toe to toe with other SW games from around that era like KOTOR, Lego Star Wars, and Battlefront and still stood out. I think its criminal that we never got a sequel. Led to some great books though.

I was hoping to see the "Fallout" series as at least an honorable mention! what with the folly of man's innate desire to wipe out anything/one that either acts, thinks or is overall perceived as different or is considered a threat to ambitions; the unfathomable effects and consequences of nuclear obliteration on a global scale and the stubbornness & unwillingness of the being known as human to learn from its mistakes thus cementing the sad reality that ''War... War Never Changes'. oh well...!
