Great comparison video! My favourite is the Fortin Grind. I love that extra sizzle and kind of "chainsaw" top end it adds to the tone

The 33 complements the amp in a beautiful way! To my taste all the others were a bit screechy, but amazing tones nevertheless!! Keep it up!!

The 33 is my fav too! It transforms any amplifier into a metal wrecking ball machine, no doubt. Btw, it works even better with my Dual Rectifier. That tone is just mindblowing... I'm planning to do a video with that combo too, if you guys are interested. 🔥

This is a killer vid, thanks for putting this together. I really like the Fortin pedals, but damn those Maxon's really do hold up after all of this time. I think the Fortins are much better suited for lower tunings based on some other demos I've watched, but I don't think you can really make a bad choice between all four of these.

Killer Tones sir ! 🙏. I am out in the market for a Tubescreamer. I could never bond with a TS808 to be honest. I am torn in between Maxon OD808X and Ibanez TS9? Which one should I go for? Cheers

Thanks mate! 🤘🏻 If I have to choose between those overdrives I’d choose the OD808X. 🔴 It has more bite and more modern character. The TS9 is more like a classic OD like the standard OD808. Hope it helps! 🤙🏻

Maxon OD808X wins for me. I used to own a 33 from one of the first batches Mike Fortin did and I didn't like it all that much, and considering the grind is basically the same pedal as the 33 with different visuals that is out of the running too. I have a Maxon OD808 that I really love, and it seems the 808X has the same vibe with just a bit more aggression and top end bite. Great shootout man!
