Pro tip for the gyrocopter: keep some Oh Shitz Drops in your hot bar while flying. Then if you accidentally eject just quickly eat them as you fall and you will be safe.

I love the vendor shuffle thing! Really helps give some extra chances at getting good items to buy, especially early on. I also usually take Living off the Land day 1 so if all else fails, I can eat snowberries for a little while and don't starve lol

I liked these tips. Some I knew, some were pretty new to me. I knew modifying a gun removed the ammo, I didnt realize that you didnt have to actually modify it to get the effect. Thats pretty cool. Honestly, the only tip I want to add is a lot less special but its huge for new games. Get a wrench and break down cars. All of them. It nets you a huge pile of parts that are virtually all very very useful for crafting. pipes, parts, engines, batteries, oil, gas, springs, I think even leather sometimes, its like a one stop shop for everything important in the game. Yes there are sources for all those bits and pieces but cars drop them all. And often in large enough numbers that after you find a half dozen cars in decent shape you have enough random parts to craft your iron tools, your bike/mini bike/and motor cycle, as well as forges cement mixers etc etc etc (minus the forged iron) And while it can make you encumbered super quick as its a lot of different items per car, they do all stack aside from engines and batteries so its fairly easy to keep going without the load getting much worse. Its never too soon to plan for the future and in the future you are going to need all that stuff. As a side benefit, it also will help you clear the roads of derelict cars getting in the way for easier travel, removes the danger of zombie jerks beating on them till they blow up next to you, and you have enough fuel stocked up to last you easily till you can get a chem station and a reason to go to the desert for shale to make your own.

Another really good tip I figured was that if you want to get rid of items for instance apparel (lvl 6 scrap boots) don’t scrap them, instead sell them BUT put a random mod on it that you don’t need anymore, that will more than double the selling price in all cases, and if you repair em you’ll get around 800-1000 dukes from it almost always. So yeah, sell apparel with random mods you don’t need to boost their price to the sky !

Same goes for weapons if you got doubles of anything. 480 Dukes apparel turns into 1058 Dukes sell price. Pretty nice way to get some extra cash

Mate your videos have good tips, but they should be about 1/4 the length that they currently are! It took 1 minute and 30 seconds to explain "If you click modify on a weapon you get the ammo out of the magazine. This lets you upgrade your weapon without losing the ammo from your old weapon"

Heads up, I haven't seen anyone else cover it but if you have the art of mining volume that allows you to craft compact stacks of resources you can have an infinite xp loop for doing nearly nothing

Tip 11: You can build a motorcycle pretty quickly Find acid at hotels or motels in the burned biome for wheels Mechanical Parts, Engine, Lead Car Battery, Headlight, and Oil by scrapping cars in the desert biome Electrical Parts is found at mo power which is found in the forest biome Steel can be acquired by scrapping street light which is found everywhere Craft glue for duct tape at trader Jens compound which has a working chemistry station and lastly get leather by killing animals I got the motorcycle on day 26

Easier tip: All respect brother Get better barter level 3 or above ASAP. Do quests, mod teir 5 and above clothing and weapons to sell for more dukes. Profit, you can literally buy a gyrocopter, but a motorcycle for 13000 dukes is common, and cheap. Can get one by around day 15, but usually day 20. Yes, you sacrifice some strength perks etc, but you can just buy what those perks would give you.... Want to respec.... buy respec moonshine.

@@davidevans7477 Agreed, you are better off buying vehicles. Even on insane difficulty with max speed zombies and permadeath it is no problem to get the 13k for a motorcycle on day 10 or 7, and with a bit of luck on day 3 even. That also saves the skillpoints, as these are needed for the strength tree early in the game.

@@davidevans7477 I generally have my motorcycle before the first horde day, but then I spend a lot of time running quests which lets me grind my cash supply up way high really fast from clearing nearby houses all the time. Too be fair I have the days set as long as possible so I can often be on tier 3 quests at least before then.

u will get ammos back when scrapping 100% Not sure about selling, but as i remember u will get ammos (not sure, but very possible)

i find it funny that you need 5 potatoes to make one potato "seed"... do they realise that a potato is a potato "seed" in itself? 1 potato creates many potatoes.. theyve got it the wrong way around...

@@pp-here what they should do instead is, give you 4 potatoes from one crop for making meals and one potato seed.. just as they do with trees when you finish cutting it down - what i would also do if i were the devs is make food take longer to grow, and be more rare, but make it provide more food... so instead of having to eat and entire bear every day, you make one bear very hard to kill or rare, and make plants take weeks to grow, but when they do grow and you harvest you get a lot of food. Scarcity and then feeling rewarded thru getting something finally is more fun than constantly having to "farm" all day long and eat 5000 things a day

@@terrencesauve i just quit the game cos when i came back to my base half of it just collapsed for no reason and destroyed most of my crates full of stuff, there was no damage to it, no zombies, no attack, no horde night.. it just collapsed as i drove closer to it... i just wasted 138 hours of my life on that playthru... im kinda dispondent to play it now.. see ymy last video if you want to see my base

@@tigrecito48 If you are on PC it is still in Alpha so it is recommended you restart every update....because the previous version world will become unstable. That is for any game in Alpha. To be honest I love restarting. I wouldn't expect to keep any world too long.

I wouldn't recommend using sewing kits against bleeding. There aren't THAT many of them available, and they are better used to craft armour mods to sell them. Any mod in a lvel six armour piece sells for ~600 dukes, depending on your bartering level. On high level difficulty I always use first aid bandages against bleeding, as they staunch the bleeding and provide the lost health.
