Brian Brooking no good reason at all. I'm just kind of bad at giving a fair shot to anyone or anything not belonging to a "brand name" company. But since the videos I watched from him were better than the uninformative crap the big publications were putting out, I had to stick around to see what was to come. From day one he made relevant stuff, but the video and production quality has leveled up big time since I started watching. Can't wait to see him with his own Amazon special.

For the boots I go with the TCX Street Ace Airs, super comfy for hot and cold, and still sub 200 ($160 american). Used them from mid 40F-90F temps and still comfy. Water proof versions exist for the same price, but living in California where rain is more of a myth than reality, it wasn't something I considered.

Ive been riding for 7 years now. Was paranoid also, but even in loose pockets they didnt fall out. I ride a sportsbike so with the angle you get itll easily fall out, you'd think. The contrary so far. The only times I get paranoid is in heavy rain. Phone is wet AF when getting it out even tho not waterproof it survived everytime

Great video. I commute every day on my bike & have found Roland sands gear works best on & off. I have the new Fresno shoes. Chose them over those j-8 alpinestars mainly because of the full toe box & ankle protection plus they were only 200. Pants wise bull-it makes great looking jeans & no one knows there riding pants. Rev'it also makes good casual riding gear but is to expensive. I have five Roland sands jackets all new, off ebay, all under 500$ together. Be safe commuting guys & gals

That's a carabiner symbol dude. They're used in climbing, so i'm really not sure what they have to do with motorcycles. However, they're also quite useful for keeping things attached to other things, so they could theoretically be used to keep things attached to your bike.

Yeah but these are good for guys or sturdy girls who are experienced since protection seems minimal here. It's very hard to find gear for girls in Sydney since most manufacturers are international, they won't ship their items here unless there is a high demand. Idk if I can ride again but I'm very disappointed by the limited options we have... But thanks to you my 'Noggin' and my chest was saved lol so keep these videos coming, they're actually very helpful for people who have no idea what to look for!

Carrying a spare goggle lense of a different tint is much easier to fit in a pack than face shield. Or just use a tinted visor (much cooler than clear) and carry a pair of safety glasses if you are stuck in the dark.
