I feel like the removal and rarity of some defensive items in zero build was to promote a more aggressive play style. I feel like I sort of enjoyed it more than dealing with people who camp in port a bunkers for entire fights.

That's a good point. However, I believe that Zero Build naturally promotes more of a tactical and passive playstyle than one of aggression like in Builds. I think that removing Zero Build items from the game made it difficult to counter other items like the minigun or grappler.

As a zero build player this season was pretty bad and it was mostly because of the grappler. You'd get someone low and then they'd just use all 20 of those fucking shots to run away from you and only you. Still would go through all this shit in zerobuild than ever go against a fortnite kid ever again. But other than that and icespice taking over skyes Island this season was pretty great.

My nitpicks: -Everyone is still sweaty and snipers are back. -It’s extremely hard to level up nowadays. Back in Chapter 3 and early Chapter 4, I could reach 120-180 by doing the bare minimum. This season, I’ve been stressing over leveling up, and I’m at level 68. -Far too many collabs, and I hope they move away from this metaverse mess. -Fortnite OG is now called “Remix,” except now, Epic is bringing back OG and making it a permanent mode. It’s like they can’t make up their mind.

This is such a braindead comment 1. It’s a competitive multiplayer game, if you don’t like people better than you, quit. 2. It’s just straight up not. If you actually bothered to play the game you would see this is one of the easiest xp seasons ever. I finished the pass in under a week. 3. Collabs aren’t bad, it’s just how they do them. This collab season is an example of bad execution which I will admit. 4. OG and Remix are 2 different things, how hard is that to understand

Honestly the biggest issue was that the season was pushed into the background in favor of yet even more awful collabs. Snoop, eminem, IS (i call her I Despise) and the awful kicks were taking the spotlight and not what should have been. The poi changes werent too bad as snoop and eminems pois were literally the same layout with a new coat of paint. Ice spices? Completely different with such a disrespectful look and feel utterly ruined the shark. Other than those the game feels perfect. Reliable and decent weapon pool. Great pois. A ton of materials for br and a ton of natural cover for zb. Other than vsing grapplers you will never have issues with fights. C2 is incredibly memorable, well made and interesting and it still holds up even by todays standard. Since we are getting c1 permanently, i really do hope we also get c2 permanently.

What I didn't like was that all my budies came back to the game. And we get put in lobbies with 70+ AI. Played ranked and it was very fun untill we hit champion. My friends couldn't keep up with the sweats in ranked and are bored of fighting 1 real squad in pubs.

My thoughts on the season: Battle pass: pretty good, chaos director is decent but my least favorite, 1 ball is awesome, undercover Skye is my favorite skin in the pass (mainly with the mask on, she looks kinda cursed with the mask off imo), meowdas really surprised me since I hated how he looked in the teasers, but he looks great in game, and dynamo Tntina is great Battle pass gets 8 goofy goober tokens Map: it’s the chapter 2 map, what else can I say? Although I don’t like how it’s pretty much just grass (I prefer when maps have different biomes personally) it’s still great. The rapper POIs were interesting but aside from lce isle I liked them Map gets 9 goofy goober tokens Lootpool: I loved honestly, hitscan just feels so much better then bullet drop, Eminem’s minigun is so goofy and I love it, and all the other weapons are just really fun to use Lootpool gets 9.5 goofy goober tokens Kicks: these are just dumb, there’s literally no point in these imo since I’m not gonna notice them while playing and the price is just absurd Kicks get 2 goofy goober tokens (there at least funny) Overall I’d give this season 9 goofy goober tokens, chapter 2 has always been my favorite chapter so revisiting it was really fun, hoping the event is good

Man, I was really, REALLY excited for Chapter 2 OG, and I was insanely hyped to play the first ever chapter of FN I had ever played, (chapter 2 season 5) and my favorite season (chapter 2 season 7) but once I learned that we were only going though the first 2 seasons all of the Hype for me was crushed. Ch2 Remix teasers were not as good I mean OG was better the teasers were better and yeah ch2 Remix wasn't as hyped and didn't have as much teasers and Fortnite changed plans of this season so yeah and Fortnite just did teasers for ch2 Remix and one was on the ch5 island yeah why not the ch2 island and Remix the Prelude was disasteress as we were especting Doom to return or at least some story but there was none Fortnite hyped up the event to be a story event and it just was a concert on a screen live and then Remix dropped and well Remix is fun but it should have been what the roadmap said because this season was ch2 s2 sprinkled with elements of ch2 s3 in it now Fortnite did say the season would have a music twist and Fortnite did say in the Fortnite Mares blogpost that Fortnite Mares was the beginning of the end of the year party and now what we know what that teaser because the end of the year party means Remix the Prelude, ch2 Remix, and Remix the Finale now it may mean ch6 too and WinterFest too but I don't think it means that because I think this party was meant to happen for end of the year activities to kick off ch6, WinterFest, OG, and more unless the activities are in the party itself there were tickets to Remix in the content creator packages confirming we were invited to the Remix party and tons of content was scrapped from this season so yeah Remix the Prelude was a Party Royale concert, ch2 Remix fun season, and Remix the Finale is the ultimate remix the finale of Remix the Finale of our Remix party and Fortnite did say a show remixed. A season reimagined. An end of chapter event to remember the season reimagined is ch2 Remix the show remixed can't be Remix the Prelude and the end of chapter event has to be the Prelude but the end of chapter event is the Finale of Remix because I think the Prelude event will be forgettable but Remix the Finale nope it is huger than the Prelude plus the event features Snoop Dog, Eminem, and Juice World who all are well known and are legends Ice Spice I guess she is well known too but not a legend OG takes the cake
