As a person who survived against Fortnite hate and defended Fortnite fans from hate comments from 2018-2020, the Fortnite hate era was absolute hell. The entire internet legit united together to hate on Fortnite and its players. I’ve used to deal with Minecraft hate, FNAF and Undertale hate, etc inc MLP and furries, and none were as cruel and as hopeless as Fortnite hate. I used to defend many of them who were getting hated before, and when Fortnite hate became a thing, I saw the people I defended from hate hating on Fortnite players. Since I witness everything about it, I could yap so much about how horrifying the “Fortnite bad” era was.

My viewpoints: -I was part of the “Minecraft good, Fortnite bad” crowd. I didn’t hate Fortnite, but I didn’t want to play it because I knew I wouldn’t have fun losing to people in a genre of gaming that I was new to. Minecraft is ACTUALLY dead, and has been for a while. People are blinded by nostalgia, and that’s coming from someone who’s been playing Minecraft for nearly half my lifetime. -OG’s are not real Fortnite fans. They played back then in Chapter 1 and early Chapter 2 and gatekeep exclusive content and flame others- especially girls for not playing the same way they do. -Fortnite “fans” keep saying the game is dead when it clearly isn’t. They say that when they aren’t having fun due to things not being strictly OG. -Sweats use the “the game has been out for +6 years” and wonder why the game is “dead.” Because they ruin things for casuals. It is not causal friendly. Also, if there is a long review, just give us the abridged version. You’ve done this 3 times in the video- ranting on and on.

I genuinely feel like the Fortnite community isn’t appreciative for what’s been added recently I remember with last year, everyone was mad because “the item shops weren’t changing as often” when that was the period of time Epic gave us the ORIGINAL map for a month, the Family Guy crossover awaited for three years at that point, three new modes which all came with FREE items, a new map, Winterfest, and the weapon modifications system Meanwhile now, people have WANTED the Snoop Dogg skin for months since the roadmap leak and now that he’s here people are all mad like “We didn’t want him! >:” just because alongside him was Ice Spice, even though people wanted WRLD and more Eminem PLUS they added Kicks which might be strange but if someone doesn’t like them they don’t have to buy them, I’m sure some time the next few battle passes will reward free kicks I feel like the internet hates the Fortnite community because we are, as a majority, not appreciative of what we’re receiving
