HELP so I use to use performance mode and got like 1k fps in creative and on dx12 like 600 then in game performance mode gets like 140 fps and dx12 gets 230

I have now tested everything extensively and I have to say I am amazed at the results. But I still have to address a point that bothers me personally. TSR on 1080p doesn't make sense to me. This makes everything blurry and I think deactivating this option makes everything much nicer and better. I switched from DX11 to DX12, also adopted the Nvidia Inspector Settings, also have Gsync+Vsync and last but not least I also installed a custom OS version called Atlas and the result is incredible.

Idk why people even mention vsync or gsync. Never ever in my life it improved my performance in any game on any monitor and pc. Always lagging and cutting frames.

@@Venoom-ji5djvsync has more uses than improving consistency of frames. It can help sync the PCs frames with what the monitor can handle. Freesync for AMD tries to get the same done except without an fps limit

I agree tho that vsync and capping fps is not for every system (limiting frames also used to be very important for old applications that would essentially turn your pc to a volcano lol)

I like this video... I've been looking all over the internet for a balanced graphics settings with good fps and visuals. But all of the settings guides recommend lowest of the settings with performance mode. Even with a lower end graphics card I get 165 fps constantly with these optimized settings but with DLSS (TSR is too blurry for my taste).

FORTNITE UNDERGROUND", apart from that you can literally tell it's not from the new update, it has the old menu which is not the current one lmao. I really enjoy and thank Panjno for all the videos he makes in order to get the best out of the game, but this one isn't it :D.

my 1% lows dip below 40 fps like every second from 144 when switching to dx12 and copying the settings, tried running lowest scaling options too. running rtx3090 btw

What cpu do you have? I had a mid range one (ryzen 9 3600x) when I first got my 3090 Ti. My cpu wasn't powerful enough and was bottlenecking my gpu. Fortnite is a cpu intensive game. This is obvious when you have your graphics settings lower. I had to upgrade my cpu and motherboard to accommodate this issue. Hope this bit of insight helps. But if this isn't your issue, I'd be glad to assist you.

@@IGL_Manic my cpu is 100% the issue as capping at 60 fps and having in performance mode aswell as nvidia control panel tweaks, it doesnt help the dips. im running ryzen 7 3700X

@vpwavv that would make perfect sense. I'm glad we got that figure out. So it seems if you want the performance boost, you'll have to invest in a better cpu. Hopefully, the cost shouldn't be too bad. Black Friday sales are still going at least where I'm from. And Christmas is coming up. If your mother board supports it the cheapest option is upgrading to a ryzen (7-9) 5600 cpu. It would boost preformance enough that you'd only be losing about 10-12% preformance. Otherwise, upgrading your motherboard and cpu is best. I recommend Intel, but the latest ryzen cpus aren't a bad option either. Hope I could help, regards, Manic.
