while I agree that there are theoretically more downsides to og as a whole seperate mode than upsides, I definitely disagree on many points. For one, players have been asking for literally exactly this (like ninja just begging for og map to be a separate mode) for years, and your point that they have to invest in several maps kinda falls off because the only map they have to actively work on and change is the chapter 6 map and maybe a new reload map, as all the others already exist and don't need much if any work done.

Thats a point people tend to forget. Its not gonna be the same map and weapons for ever, almost all chapter 1 seasons are completely different, compare the season 3 map to the season 9 map they are just as different as they are to the chapter 2 map. I mean if the game managed to pull numbers when chapter 1 was dropping seasons every 2 and a half months it should be just as successful as them cycling every month

The current modes that I can think of in Fortnite are as follows: - Battle Royale (build and build ranked) - Battle Royale (no-build and ranked) - Lego - Rocket Racing - The Dec. 6 OG - Save the World - Reload - Creative I think you might be correct about some things, however, the new OG mode coming back forever will likely bring more players. At least in the short term. While I think there are a bit too many modes, I also think that SOME diversity is good. I disagree with the extent that Fortnite is trying to monetize, I think that, ultimately, Fortnite will die because of lack of content updates and more focus being put on in-game cosmetics. Take a look at Apex Legends! It’s cosmetic system has been taken and exploited to the extreme. I am eager to see how far Epic will take these “diversification” of their game.

Naaaaaaaaah they should delete chapter 1 instead if too many br experiences split the player base in a negative way. Having main br and reload was already perfect, the boring and outdated chapter 1 experience can leave honestly, we have reload for that, it's so much better despite nostalgia addicts try to convince you otherwise. these videos are focused very heavily on the marketing of the new season. If Fortnite makes a good game it will do well. fortnite has solely survived on marketing for the past 6 years with actual gameplay declining every season. its impressive but they havent balanced the game or made it good in years which is why it will fail. then everyone will play og. They don't know how to make a good game and they are afraid this season is going to flop because of that so they are releasing og a week after as a safety net.

​@@pierdoslaw2191 Reload has two different rotating maps giving the mode already so much variety than bringing back chapter 1 again with the new one (Oasis) being so much better than the first, Not to mention the reboot mechanic by itself gives the mode a frantic and much more fun pacing in comparison, also the lootpool being vastly superior because it rotates the best of the best of Ch1 through Ch4 weapons compared to only the clunky and outdated chapter 1 guns. Reload made so many improvement upon the classic era gameplay in every aspect it will make chapter 1 feel so boring in comparison when it returns. But I already know I'm wasting my time explaining why reload is better, I'm not slow kid, you're actually rtrded and won't even understand something this simple that doesn't even need an explanation to begin with.
