Hoooollly crap, I forgot about that collab. I queued into a match to watch the thing, and after about 15 minutes of doing nothing interesting, I left. I think I might actually have an image of it stored on my Nintendo Switch. Edit: I have just checked, and whilst I don't have a screenshot of the news tab for the event, I have about 16 screenshots of the event in-game, with 14 of them being close-up to the Risky Reels screen with little-to-no blockage.

I waited for like 30 minutes and got bored so I just swam to the shark and took one of those bears that were in the game one time. I love Doctor Who. It's been my favorite show since I was like 3. I also love Fortnite, so when I heard Fortnite was doing a Doctor Who collab, I was excited. I was thinking of all the cool things that could be done, like skins of all the Doctors. I was a bit disappointed to find out that we only got a spray. I still love the fact we got a spray (that spray hasn't left my emote wheel since I equipped it) but it could have been so much more. You can also imagine my disappointment when those "leaks" about a big Fortnite X Doctor Who turned out to be fake.

I always found it strange that they added skins for characters like Issac Clarke, honestly. I remember my younger cousin overhearing me talking about him with my stepdad a few years back and he said "he's not from Fortnite?" My dad and I both looked at him in confusion, he asked me and I shrugged and looked into it. Imagine our shock when we saw his skin in that game. We both collectively then asked "Why the fuck is a character from an insanely gory horror game a character in a kid's game?" Now that we look back on it, it might've been because of the Dead Space Remake and more of a thing for fans (like myself) to buy. If I played at the time, yeah I would've bought him. I'm old enough to remember the trailers for Dead Space 2 which was my favorite game in the series

The Doctor Who collab gets incredibly depressing because there was supposed to be a mini battle pass involved near the end of last year with two doctor skins: The 14th and 15th Doctor but it was canceled since it wasn’t finished in time for the anniversary episode and time related issues involving the collab. There’s actual leaks of this collab you can look up. Supposedly it’s been rebooted to focus just on the 15th Doctor but there’s been no news about it since.

For me I’d have to say Fortnite x Fallout. I know to some that may sound weird but I’ll list my reasons: - Vault Boy backbling was overpriced for what it came with (no edit styles based on the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes or even more Fortnite themed bobble heads) - I know copyright would be a problem with the music that plays within Fallout but they couldn’t at least give us the themes for Fallout 3, 4, and New Vegas as jam tracks?! - No other skins such as customizable Vault Dwellers, Courier Six, Ulysses, or even the show characters like Lucy or Maximus - No other Fallout themed weapons (would hav loved to see the Fat Man, Plasma Rifle or the Super Sledge) - Nuka Cola I expected to see but it would have been better if you could get other Nuka Cola variants that had different effects (Quantum, Dark, Cherry, etc) - No Fallout enemies. I know that that would be shaky ground but I personally would have loved to fight the occasional Deathclaw, Robobrain, or even Cazadores on the map 😂 TLDR: Kinda disappointed with the Fortnite x Fallout collab, they could have done more…

Important about the Doctor Who collab, it was fumbled. It would've included a skin with styles of both David Tennant and Ncuti Gatwa's doctors. Fortnite moved it to Q1 of this year, when BBC wanted it to be Q4 of last year to match with the anniversary and Christmas Special. Fortnite did this because of... Lego. BBC had it and now the skin is lost to time
