You're absolutely right about the fun factor and laid back nature of fortnite. When I'm playing fortnite with friends it feels like a party. We chat about random shit and laugh about stuff. In pubg people are fucking sweaty and there's no room for conversation. Also fortnite perfectly blends casual with skill. In fact, because of the building mechanics, traps, launch pads etc, mastering fortnite has far more depth than mastering the art of patience in pubg

Alright lets break down these reasons in his video for why Fortnite is better than PUBG. His 5 reasons were, Perfect amount of casual - ok well this is an opinion on why the game is better, some people like casual games, some like hardcore games, it doesn't make it better it is just what you prefer. Pacing - yes the pacing of Fortnite naturally gives more fights, however with PUBG you never know when the fights occur and they are more stressful and adrenaline packed when they do, either way its another opinion on what you prefer again. Replay value - this is just an opinion, PUBG has tons of replay value, so does Fortnite, his reasons for this are the building mechanics and sound whoring (which almost doesn't exist in Fortnite but i digress), PUBG has more realistic fights and skill based encounters which adds to replay value so it really depends on what you look for in the game More Engaging Looting - He states that Fortnite looting is better because you always find a gun no matter where you go and therefore its better and that finding the rocket launcher and such feels super rewarding, he then says that PUBG sucks because you wont always find a weapon and that its boring that way, but my question is, if it is rarer to find a weapon in pubg especially a good one, how does that make it not feel rewarding when you do? either way, another opinion not a fact. Lighter mood - Um, bringing politics which has nothing to do with the games themselves besides the setting they are in which makes no difference gameplay wise just doesn't make any sense of why one is better than the other. Fortnite is arcadey and obviously more colorful while PUBG is not so but it doesn't mean one is better than the other. Lastly I would like to point out that he makes a lot of references to 3rd person in PUBG which is the only way to play Fortnite so the points he makes about PUBGs 3rd person fights are present in Fortnite as well making those points moot however, the advantage PUBG has is that there is a 1st person mode which helps fix a lot of the problems that he states. I don't hate Fortnite, i just prefer PUBGs realism and tactics better than the building and shooting mechanics of Fortnite, both games are fun, but they really cannot be compared, one is an arcadey shooter, the other is a mil-sim. If he really wanted to make some reasons Fortnite is better with actual reasons he would have made the video about things such as server stability, developer competency, etc. but the closest he came to actual points was the quick jab at the end that "PUBG is dogshit on the consoles" which I don't disagree with but points like that should have been the focus of the video instead of opinions.

In pubg every time I had played it it was constant stress and tension. My most memorable match I had spent sitting in a small hut waiting on the circle to close in. While I had looted the one house nearby already, someone else had finally come along after 15 minutes of pure quiet tension and sound whoring. I had spotted the guy for only a second before he went prone in the tall grass. For the next 15 to 20 minutes it was quiet as I tried to discern where this guy actually was. Finally I saw him relocate and I made a move for him and barely won the firefight. Wasn't fun. On fortnite my friend and I usually play duo only. We have too many memorable moments to count. Our recent one, we got into a 4 team firefight. 2v2v2v2. Circle was very small and ending on a mountain one squad had a base already on it. We weren't positioned properly and made a run for the base and killed the original owners before hiding under said base. There was only one entrance and the 2 last enemies didn't know where we were. One guy was prowling around the base unaware we were mere feet from him. He was greedy for loot and we popped him and waited. Last guy eluded us and we panicked in the last gun fight and lost but we couldn't help but burst out laughing at how the match had played out. It was fun

Modern COD is not equal to FortNite in anyway. Modern COD is another dying example of what happens when the Devs listen to crybabies and Pros. You have a tiny rail shooter where the enemy constantly spawns behind you and shoots you in the back. Maps so small you can throw a rock to the other side, but somehow a good sniper dominates the CQC action. Because we all know that it was the charging snipers point blank quick scoping that wins all wars. COD and FortNite shouldn't even be in the same sentence unless someone is trashing the ruin COD has become.

I prefer pubg. Always. The biggest reason is the gunplay is just better. It just feels right. I don't like fortnight for the gimmick shit they put in it and ridiculous tactics you need to run. I get it. Fortnight is objectively the better game. My preference lies with pubg.

I just got into fortnight one of the things thats great about it is that the matches are fast and fun. If you die, you pop into a new game and you dont feel that huge regret that you feel if youre getting spanked for half an hour in other pvp games, and when youre doing well it still has that rush of "fuck yeah im a boss" as you shotgun a dude in the face and they explode into a bunch of dank loot. Also the fights are just more fun to watch because you can make those BSD plays where you build a staircase over your opponent and drop down on top of them or you launchpad yourself at them etc etc whereas watching pubG is like "ooo cool youre laying down in a field and shooting at someone whose doing the same i wonder who will make a mistake first"

Never played pubg even though I've always wanted to, but Fortnite is addicting to me and I'm enjoying it. The amount of control you get is fucking insane, you can litterally manipulate situations into your favour. I love that shit. The best part is that when you fuck up and die it's your error and you have to pay for that, hindsight is so important that if you make the same mistakes then you aren't getting any better.

I like fortnite because of the building, and the cartoony look. It’s honestly less stressful for me. In pubg, I can’t really see as much, the color is so plain in the game and it honestly gets very competitive too. Fortnite is just all around better (for me)
