Fortune and Death I live across the road from the high school where I teach Ag, so not much commuting. I have to drive it about a mile per day, puttering around our little school doing little errands. I didn’t drive it anywhere, except that kind of stuff for a month and got 8 mpg. The next month, I drove on a 1,000 mile road trip to South Georgia, pulling a 14’ canoe trailer, loaded with 7 canoes and 7 men’s gear for a 5 day trip across the Okefenokee Swamp. I drove around 80 all the way. I kept up with mileage and fuel at each fill up. Filled up when I got home and average 11.9 mpg. 🤷🏻♂️😂 Does the fire stick come with that bracket that fits around your hood?
@FortuneOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
@@mountainsnmoore256 When my 1500 was stock I could easily pull 20 mpg on the highway, closer to 15 now. That bracket is sold separately and it generic, fits most trucks I think.

Fortune and Death The 35s and my heavy foot do not contribute to fuel economy. Thankfully I don’t have a long commute, and it isn’t even my “daily driver” at this point. Just my play truck now. Camping, canoeing, hiking, etc.

Fortune and Death As far as fuel mileage, my ‘05 Tahoe gets about 21 on the highway and my wife’s ‘13 Yukon XL with 6.0 gets around 18-19 on the highway. We have too many big vehicles...we counted up and can haul 34 people in our 5 vehicles. 🤦🏻♂️😂

I've never done that before. Mine are single shocks with a reservoir. If you need to run double shocks, you probably need stiffer suspension or a higher valving shock. One of my first videos was a walk around that covered most of it. That would do a better job than me describing it here, but really it was a custom job where I literally cut off all of the front suspension and swapped in a solid front axle from a 1991 F-350. If you're just looking g for a lift i would stay around 4-6" at the most. More than that and things get expensive to do right. 🤙🏻
