Looking forward to seeing a video on your flat top knuckle swap. I am getting ready to do the same to my YJ with a waggy 44 using a 76 J20 flat top knuckle that I had machined by bonzpartz for their steering arm. Going with Barnes 4WD weld in tube inserts and 1.5" OD 1/4" wall seamless tube for the drag link. Keeping my stock waggy tie rod in place as I don't need the 1 ton stuff with my 35s. Good luck with your build.

Sounds like you've got it nailed down. I'm going to try using a Chevy Dana 44 knuckle and hopefully my current draglink will work if I use a longer tie rod end. Of not, I'll just make a new one.

I was just wondering if the samurai was gonna be swapped before Zukicon.

I know I'm gonna run into problems, so I'm trying to wait until after Zukicon. I'm gonna get everything ready in the meantime, though! 🤙🏻

Nice , question what year is your old dana 44, and what c gusset you are using
@FortuneOffRoad Жыл бұрын
1985 I believe. Stock Cs, but found a c gusset kit and welded the braces on

How much of a pain was it drilling that pitman arm
@FortuneOffRoad Жыл бұрын
Painful with that weak Ryobi press, otherwise would be a piece of cake

WFO armless knuckles check them out

I've seen those! I want the arms for my tie rod so it doesn't interfere with the draglink. Would be sweet for hydro though
