Absolute jizzmachines. What an incredible day. Love the casual, not-mentioned McLaren F1 GTR and a bunch of period GT40s which race at Goodwood every year too, easily £100m of stuff just in the first 5 minutes.

10 years ago they found 60 of them in storage somewhere in Essex. They were part of the 75 built in the UK and a further 75 were built in Malaysia. Of those 150 built 100 were supposed to be sold to the public and 50 kept for racing.

Was at Brands Hatch wsbk and even though James Hayden wasn't running at the front that was the bike I was waiting for every lap... Sound and flames. The 44teeth boys are brilliant. Videos are always so well done. They clearly know their stuff, with plenty of humour flung in too. To see one Foggy Petronas FP1 on the road would be very special indeed. Oh no, two bikes side by side!! That triple sounds oh so sweet. The 44teeth boys are one of the best on youtube. Everyone ride safe and continued good health to one and all.

Great work chaps. So envious both of you got to spank them a little. I remembered growing up as a Malaysian how proud and excited I was to know Petronas was building these. Even dreamed of owning one some day. Shame it didn’t really happened. I was there when Momoto tried their own revival in Malaysia, but again, that didn’t happen either. Only wished I had a galactic-sized bank account to acquire one now from Lanzante. Those who know Lanzante and their level of expertise would understand why they’ve priced these bikes as such.

Well thanks a lot 44Teeth, I have my boss up my ass demanding an explanation for a 28 min poo break... I just remembered doing a 3day racing program with Race Academy at the Lausitzring, back in Aug 2013. Great to see these on the road. I had been working at team KR when these were dreamed up, and the project should have gone so much better than it did. Yes it was my understanding that a quantity of the bikes had to be produced only to homologate for a race programme. I seem to think 50 off units. Many thanks for showing us these machines.

Raging Speed horn! An utterly ridiculous day out, seeing both bikes on the road together is a treat, great work by all! Amazing story and what an experience, super sick presentation of the bikes in those racing crates. Still needs a tickle here and there to get all components singing from the same hymn sheet but I'm sure the team needed the road test to find out themselves. Least you didn't bin this one, Baron. Great video lads, thanks as always.

One of the best videos you guys have done together. A : because it was the FP1 which has been a dream bike of mine since Foggy Petronas announced they were going to be sold to the public then weren't and would be in my dream garage with my NR750 and my desmodeci and properly sorted V Due B: you were So genuine and were both knew what a chance it was to ride them and you did what we would all do on a ride IE find nice roads then go to the pub followed up with a trip to to loomies so normal mortals can see them. Also the fact you were both on the same bikes gave great footage and banter perhaps you should both jump on a couple of desmos next! Thanks for a great Vid.
