That was great video mick, great to see the tent servived the weather, it was a rough night. I remember putting the gazebo up once and it ended up on next doors patio, I managed to knock their security lights off 😂 luckily they weren't in and when they got back it was like nothing had happened 😂😂 x

Glad you were wise enough to stay home for your test! Thought that thing was gonna be a parachute for sure, with no skirt to stop an updraft, lol. Hugs from Utah! It's been 20 some odd degrees and VERY foggy here, couple of light snows but nothing sticking yet

Good to know the tent can stand up to the winds and rain if you ever get caught in a storm unintentionally. But I totally agree with you about people who go out on purpose in a storm. I think if people do it on purpose and have to be rescued, they should have to do a mountain rescue course. To get it into their heads why it's such a stupid idea and how many of the rescuers lives it puts at risk to go save them. Great vid mate 👍

@Mickoutdoors yes I did watch it. It's my one that was already damaged that was replaced. It was a peg that pierced the fly and it just split. It was so windy I couldn't pitch any of the tents. Did show that getting caught in that kind of weather when you're already pitched is easier than pitching in the weather. 😬💨⛺

Yeah agreed. Tbf I wouldn't even consider going out on days like these (said Matt Monroe). Much prefer the comfort of a warm wife. Mick i was in tears half way through when i noticed a certain collapsible bottle on the floor. Defo a temu product as ive got one as well 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@Mickoutdoors I had one of those. Used it one night in a heavy rain storm for the first time (exactly what it was bought for) about 2-weeks after I bought it. Put the cap back on and stood it in the tent vestibule in one of my boots to prevent it falling over, then noticed my hand was wet. Bl**dy thing had split at one of the folds and leaked pee all over my sleeping bag - and (of course) inside my boot. Emptied it out and put it straight in the bin. Have replaced it with a silicone version from Kiddi whiz. Perfect 😊
