Cheers for this, just ordered one as backup for my thermarest although as others have said I'm not waiting till April next year for it 😂 so went for the £39 option.

@daviddownie5622 still a bargain David, I slept on mine last night with nothing underneath it, and was toastie warm, couldn't feel any cold from ground and pad was warm, admittedly it only got down to 8 but still a good start 👍👌

It looks just like the REI Helix pad, I have bought a few of the Ali express pads the ones with the sea to summit baffles and both were comfy and light weight but both failed after two trips this summer they both lasted about 10 nights of camping terrible value for money at like 65 quid a mat both just left slow deflating when loaded with weight in the night nd it was cold few nights, the baffles went on the other two and separated inside. When these things go faulty your are screwed with the guarantee. I got two new Thermorest mats in the sale and they are comfy , warm and I have peace of mind that in a few years if they fail I have a good chance of it been repaired or being sent another matt if not. Tents and sleeping bags can be found budget on things like Amazon, Temou Aliexpress, but airmats I would always buy the brand names with the proper long term warranties they honour. I have had Big Agnes, Exped ones and never no problems with them, I only started having problems when I cheeped out on my sleep mat

@wad6216 Thanks for taking the time to comment really appreciate it, so far the pad has preformed well, thing is not everyone has £150 to £250 to spend on a sleep pad, especially those just tipping their toes into wild camping to see if they enjoy it or not, so pads like this can offer a budget alternative, sure if your out regularly and this fails I'd certainly think about upgrading to a brand pad, but I've also seen videos of top brand expensive pads failing, it's all well and good getting a free replacement or repair, but when it fails during a camping trip your in exactly the same position as if you were on a budget pad only difference being the after sales treatment 👍

Mine arrived today and well impressed seems very well made and tough, I could feel the heat coming back from it and it doesn't seem too noisy when properly inflated, The pump sack works well and took just two and a half full sacks to inflate although i do wish it was just a couple of inches longer but for £39 it seems an absolute bargain, the true test will be using it on a trip which I'll be doing in the next week or so, I'll take my thermarest as well just in case 😉Thanks for bringing this to my attention 👍

Great to hear, your first impressions are good, I had similar thoughts about the length but it was actually ok, but I'm only 5ft 10, as for the sound it was fine but I did see a review saying it was to noisey but it wasn't at all, let us know how you get on with it on your trip 👍👌

yes i seen that pad on some other fellas video and he said it was on gazzas video were he,s out with it so i had a look and thought great because i have all my sleep system for the winter except my pad because i didn,t want to pay over a hundred pound for something wot could get punctured lol but i sent for that yesterday and it will be here wednesday so ill be out on a camp then lol oh thought i was subscribed on your channel and i wasn,t so i have hit the button mate and give you a like
