Great job!!! I'm here in Dallas, Texas and this is my second time doing mine. I have a 2010 Dodge Charger 3.5 Sxt. My first pair come from A1- Auto. Didn't last long for me. (2022).

I've learned with these cars if you wanna truly eliminate the infamous clunk that u basically gotta replace the whole front suspension..but the bushings usually be the biggest culprit..

@@traylei3731 thanks. I still have a little clunk left.

One should torque the inner bushing with the suspension in its loaded position so the rubber isn't twisted when at rest. I usually do this by putting the car on jack stands, and lifting under the knuckle with the hydraulic jack until it just barely takes the weight off the jack stand, then tighten the bushing. Alternately, you can leave the bolt just snugged, put the wheel back on and lower the car, then drive it onto ramps, and tighten the bolt fully.

You have to turk inner nd outter CA bolts to 136 lbs or ur bushings will go with in month !! Snug it lower it on level jack as if is on ground loaded nd then turk it

Don't forget to load your suspension before you tighten your lower control arm and upper control arm bolts or you will wear the bushings out and it might make a squeak squeak sound every time you hit a bump you want them tight enough to where you Jack The Knuckle Up the bushings are not turning in their bracket and when you're tightening them up you want the car to be in the rest position so that the bushings are not twisted I usually just eyeball it and make it very tight and then take it to the alignment shop

My homeboy got in a small wreck and the insurance filed it for total and it look like the wheel got stuck do you think I can just replace the abs alarm system would that work
@EvolvingMale8 ай бұрын
Maybe. They can be kinda a pain. Lots of wires going to them. But I don’t see why it wouldn’t work
@EvolvingMale8 ай бұрын
Oh, I get it. As long as the frame is intact, I don't see a reason you couldn't just replace the control arms. Definitely better than totaling it.

I also need to change mine on my 2016 Charger R/T, did you get a front end alignment afterwards?
@EvolvingMale11 ай бұрын
No. They don't attach to the adjustments, so I figured it would be okay. I still need to change the rear set

Okay thank you! I was trying to surf the web for answers on if I needed an alignment but I wasn’t getting a forward answer on the charger
@Kapoonas10 ай бұрын
I would suggest it, but i also agree it wont change much. If you havent had one for a while, it might be a good idea. I had bad tire wear combined with sagging control arms, im.getting alignment done after.
