Now that is a million dollar drill. I did this today along with my new gem training aid feelings and it was like I was processed by an actual golfer. I really appreciate your deductions to teaching. Thank you, Steve.

Played today and used this. I never missed one drive and monstered a couple. Chunked a few from the fairway early on but once I adapted was striking the ball beautifully. IMO this is the best tip on KZbin.

Moe Norman called the start of the down swing “ the vertical drop” and “ the feeling of greatness” Moe also said as the club goes back his body is going forward

Congrats on 70k. I like the way to teach by trying to get people to feel what's needed rather than just trying to tell them. Thanks very much.

I find that using the Eureka system, and keep your right arm close to the body, this creates the straight down swing. This has helped me a bunch.

I think that I finally have a drill that will help my swing. Thanks Steve, went to the garage and worked on this. I feel the correct motion for the first time in 30 years

Hi, tried this today on course as I have always struggled with coming over the top, this one feeling REALLY helped! Played the best I have in a long time and a really easy thought! My three friends who I played with were all annoyed at how well I played (kept it much straighter and accurate) as I took the money and beer afterwards! Thanks! 👏🏼

Brilliant you are. What a great thought to bring hands straight down on a slight angle from the top of the back swing into the slot. I note that at toe tip of your back swing as shown in the video the butt of the club points roughly to your heel line and once into the slot the butt of the club is long the toe line. A guide for bringing the hands straight down form the top of the back swing into the slot position where the butt of the club is even with the toe line more or less with the shoulders still closed albeit they open a slight bit from the top..Have i got that right?

Great video on keeping the club on plane Steve! I, for one, do occasionally come over the plane. I must engrain this into my subconscious not to let this happen. Congrats on the 70,000 subscribers. All the Best in attaining your next goal! Keep up the hard work and it will be a "piece of cake!"

Steve -you mention in the video the arms dropping down and then the body rotates, but before this happens should left hip lift up and begin clearing before the arms do anything?
@stevejohnstongolf3 жыл бұрын
Yes they should but I was focusing on the hand path. Well done you!

shouldn't the move really begin with the lower body- which allows the arms to drop into the slot - is there a danger pulling the arms down -- I am a big fan.
