THANK YOU. Just watched the "Stop Turning and Learn to Release" video from 2 months ago. That video just changed everything for me as I can now keep my spine angle with head behind ball and get the "Tour Release" thanks to your 3 step drill. I knew that was what was supposed to happen, and every instructor talks about staying in posture behind ball with a full release, but I never saw it conveyed and demonstrated the way you did. Looking forward to back watching your vids.

Good morning Chris from Romania. First of all, thank you for the interesting and true video. I am not even half way through but I already like and confirm what I see and hear. I discover the same issue (after 10 years of golf and HC 12) regarding the right elbow. I initiated a few lessons for my 10 years old son ( he is very good) and the teacher (a Romanian young pro) look at my swing and corrected two things. Right arm and steep club. First time I hit a draw. I subscribe and looking forward to see more. Regards Edmundus

Great video and very helpful. On a TOTALY separate issue, I noticed something very odd at 6.10 to 6.15 in the sky above the tree-line on the right. Initially looks like an airplane (white spot) tracking from right to left, then disappears! Weird!!!
@MyGolfDNA19 күн бұрын
Thank you!!! AND...I just had to go back and watch and I definitely see this white spot. I looked like it was moving really fast and then it didn't. Probably need to get on the phone with William Shatner and see if he can figure out what the heck that was. Very weird and good catch:)

Ready to quit Golf! My driver just kills my game and confidence. Somehow, I still manage to shoot in the mid 70’s!!! I feel like something is actually clicking with your driver videos. You just have to many and I can’t figure out what order to watch them in, to really improve my driver. Can you send me a playlist in the order I should be watching and practicing?!?
@MyGolfDNA16 күн бұрын
Don’t quit! Golf is always going to drive you nuts. Being able to shoot in the 70’s and not having your best is a whole lot better than 65 million other people that play this game. I’ll put together a driver playlist by Saturday and let you know when it’s all ready to roll.

I worked on this at the range this morning.......lots of hooks and over draws. What is the likely cause? Too much in to out path or rolling over the club face?
@MyGolfDNA19 күн бұрын
Hmmm...let's check a few things first....When you look back at the swings from face on, do you see too much secondary spine tilt before impact? When you look at the swings from down the line, do you see any vertical movement from the head before contact? Is the clubhead toed up on the lead side of the body when the hands and arms are extended at the completion of the release? If the spine looks good from both angles and the face looks good, I would go back to video 2 and work exclusively on the fade bias path and then come back to the this drill and see if that solves the issue. Keep me posted.

@MyGolfDNA It looks like I was leaving the trail elbow/club up and behind as I shifted to my lead side. With shoulders closed to the path, guess what , the path is right of right. Once I made sure the trail elbow stayed connected and came down and in front of my ,body results were much better

@@JeffVandeVorst and that is how you make the correct adjustment folks. Go forth my child!!! Thanks for reporting back and glad you were able to get it back on track.

@MyGolfDNA I played yesterday and made a conscious effort to get that trail elbow coming down and in front of my body... My ball striking was beautiful, 14 GIR, and the 4 greens I missed were just bad club choices on my part. Next time i am back in Orlando I'll come and see you for a lesson and our Donkey head covers can meet...lol

@@JeffVandeVorst Deal! 2 donkeys unite!!! We will capture the magic on camera for the folks at home and we might need to introduce the like-minded wives at the same time. In all seriousness, that's a pretty solid day at the golf course and happy to hear it. Onwards and upwards:)

EARLY EXTENSION = BAD TRAIL ARM ACTION
@MyGolfDNA7 күн бұрын
Yep, I covered that in the first video of the series. I’ve seen people stay in posture and still use the right shoulder and arm improperly in the downswing.
@timothyslaughter4767 күн бұрын
This is a great video, one of the best on right arm. I'm just saying that early extension of the right elbow and wrist "usually" leads to early extension of the body so it's something to look out for. Thats all. Exceptions to every rule. Peace.

I’ve been playing golf for 40+ years. The Driver has always been my nemesis club. I play to a 10 handicap but have trouble getting my swing speed over 90 mph. I can’t wait to try your tips next time that I’m on the range. But, I don’t think that I can pick up 10+ mph, you make it look so easy. What am I doing wrong. 🫤
@MyGolfDNA16 күн бұрын
Get to work! It’s not easy but it’s rewarding when you work on it the right way and stay committed. You’ll get there. Just take your time and get the movements right and let speed some back to you as you get better and better with it.
