I swapped a 6.2L V8 in my Buick Regal GNX with a street supercharger, stock exhaust and stock air filter and it sounds awesome

No, Saleen's decision about making this car with V4 was WRONG. This V8 is an option for a reason. My dark steel S1 with V8 supercharger whine is just one of my favorite cars to cruise with in this game. Of course It's just a matter of preferences. Greetings

Come on my guy. That Saleen S1 was built with a turbo-4. I don't see anything wrong with that. It just doesn't match the car when you stick a V8 in it. It's like sticking a V8 in an Alfa Romeo 4c to me

@@FrequencyORD You must think I'm an idiot. I do know and very much love the S7. I was talking specifically about the Saleen S1, because that thing is powered by a turbo-4 with over 400hp. It's pretty cool, but I don't particularly feel that a V8 fits the S1. Yes of course it fits the S7, but I personally don't like a V8 in the S1. I like the S1 for the same reasons I like the Alfa 4c. Relatively small, mid-engine sports car powered by an inline-4. It's personally interesting to me. For a lot of interesting or cool cars, I like to keep the stock or similar powertrains in them. Like the DeLorean for example. I kept the stock engine in that, particularly because in reality it wasn't a bad engine, it was just hamstrung at the time and actually has a fair bit more room for power. Thing was supposed to get turbocharged after all. That's my philosophy when it comes to modifying cars in Forza. Some of them I will completely swap, but for the most part I try to be faithful to some of the car's original characteristics.

i honestly think they could improve the sound of the z even though they mixed sound files. it sounds WAY too raspy and obnoxious. they should get some samples from need for speed underground 2 or something, or take some pointers from them. just saying, they could really improve on the sound

No it’s not you. Forza has been in need of backfire overhaul for a while now. Let’s hope they maybe fix it later down the line because they showed us they are willing to fix sounds such as the Porsche 918 or the Pagani Zonda Cinque. If they wait for FH6 though I still wouldn’t be too upset. The backfires suck, but not enough to completely take out the immersion for me. At least they made the car sounds sound sooo much better than fh4. That was the big thing for me.

I’m pretty sure the 6.2 L V8 is an American V8. Probably a dodge or Ford V8

If it's the 510 HP engine, it's the AMG 6.2 motor in the C63 Black Series. The 415 HP 6.2 is the American LS3 engine.
