The audio design is crazy. Being in the desert and hearing people in the Baja revving up. And the superchargers are SO much better. My only critique is the Dodge superchargers are so iconically loud and in this game you can barely hear them, so I hope that changes soon

Also one thing I missed from old Forza's that's back is the gear whine whenever you upgrade your transmission to race transmission. LOVE it so much

Its not only the car sounds as well. Like even the little clicks of the paddle shifters, the variety of gear shifts sounds depending on the vehicle and even the TC kicking on when the car goes from asphalt to dirt and vice versa. The game pulls you in with such great immersion and I can't get enough of it.

We can only hope that they would stay with the good sounds they recorded already and add over time the other cars. Was always a sad moment when they deleted so many sounds once we got a new Motorsport or Horizon without good new sounds or where sometimes 10-15 cars had the same 😩

All the AMG’s in game now have the 100% accurate sounds to the real world ones, I’ve been fortunate enough to drive 3 of them, the 2018 e63s, 2013 E63S and an AMG GTC, the GT-R in game has the same setup as a GTC and I can confirm it is 100% accurate. On a side note it’s nice that the AMG GT 4 Door no longer sounds like a BMW M5

E63s shoots out all the time it sound like ak shots and in forza you just hear a little pop when you go off gas thats it. Some engines sound good in forza but its not so crazy like real life

They aren’t accurate and I’ve owned one and driven a couple. They’re all water down and sound off. The black series and the SLS are the only ones that actually sound good and are the closest to the real thing.

The 1968 Mustang GT 2+2 fastback is amazing. You can make it sound almost identical to how it did in the movie Bullitt, especially when in interior view. I managed to color match the paint with the movie car which took ages but was well worth it. I will have to comment my setup soon.

@Erick Phoenix Well as far as the engine goes, and this is just to get it sounding as close as one can make to the movie car, Stock engine w/ street exhaust and sport intake. If you want the wheels you need the Cragar S/S Super Sport wheels in the specialized category. I have actually posted the paint as well since there is no normal paint that looks the part, and it is made with those wheels in mind as well. Just search Bullitt in designs and paints, and find the one made by KaelinNovaX if you want mine.

@Erick Phoenix Oh and the front and rear bumper, as well as the sideskirt options are set to the Ford ones. They basically make it look exactly like the Bullitt Mustang if you do the paint and wheels along with it.

There are literally so many great sounding cars that I can't name just a few of them, I'm literally trying to think on just a bunch but they're a lot. Well, some I really liked were the Audi RS5 Sportback with Sport Supercharger and sport exhaust I think, and sport camshaft. Another could be the 991.2 911 Porsche GT3 RS, tho I forgot the setup that sounds best, I just know I kept it N/A. Also the R35 2017 GT-R sounds really good with race exhaust

I would say the car sounds are fantastic, but I think they still need some work. Some don't sound too accurate, and I miss the sound of turbos spooling up and the whistle while accelerating. And I think the transmission whine is a little too loud on some cars.

If you want to hear these sounds, then go to the cockpit camera. All those sounds you mentioned can be heard in the game, but only in the cockpit camera. You can't hear it from the outside, especially from the back of the car because the exhaust is there

I made a weird setup in my joystick to drive with clutch that I can use the clutch on Left Trigger and the brake on left analog down. Since FH4 i use this setup to drive around and I love it.

The sounds are better than fh4 for sure (not that it was hard to be) but there are still really glaring issues and a lot of room for improvement. Specifically either tune down or add a slider that controls the "mechanical" sounds like turbo whistle and transmission whine cuz holy shit, on some cars its so egregious I can barely hear the engine over the piercing, shrill whistle.

With race exhaust and basically all upgrades it sounds BEAUTIFUL I remember seeing one at the track and when it went past you there was a low drone that just shakes your bones its awesome.
