Back when I was turning wrenches I would’ve KILLED for a opportunity to pick someone like your brain and learn all the tricks and tips…. kids this kind of job is life changing and will put you at the top quicker if you dedicate all of yourself to your craft!!

A buddy of mine and I worked for them for a month or two and whenever we discussed pay, they would just shove it back and say "oh we'll talk about it". I have endless horror stories of stuff that they royally messed up with customers' cars. Sure it's a "life changing" opportunity, but not in the way I'm sure that you meant.

Sounds like a really good opportunity for someone. There's not many places that you'll get this kind of experience from so I would take this serious as a applicant

I get you want experience, but why do you want someone on the tail end of the career? And what is the salary potential? Because if you are looking for master level experience for entry level pay, it is going to limit things. You can only do so much for “the love of the game.”

Pay depends on experience.
