Both are great, great games. With each one having its strong points. If you focus on single player, Forza feels a lot more like GT was now, much more cars, bigger career mode, special cars locked behind events and a better sense of progression. GT in the other hand has better graphics and better online. Forza has a more thrilling sound but stock cars often sound like tuned cars, GT has OK sound this time. Anyway, If you can enjoy both, it's the best idea.

Ignacio Romero GT Sport is more sim focused, Forza is easier to pick up and is more forgiving. Like I said, it all comes down to which experience you want. If you're an amateur driver Forza is probably the game you'll want to go for, but if you're a skilled gamer and you've been playing sim games for a while, GT is the right game for you. (Just stating my thoughts, please don't start a war, I really don't want that shit in my notifications)

The GT-R in Forza sounds too much like a boxer six its bothering me. Either that or an Aston Martin V12 in the cockpit. GTS nails the sound pretty much in every effect other than shifting, and for the people who actually know what it sounds like can confirm. Looks like the old sound director for Forza was the better one, because GT-Sport just sounds better. As for graphics, GT has better anti-aliasing and just a much prettier presentation for me. Other than the trees, GT wins for me.

The upshifts in GT are way more accurate tbh. It's a double clutch car, it shouldn't sound like it dropped much in revs, it should be really quick. Good job on PD for catching that detail, and props to the major upgrade in sound design.

the 3d model in forza is : 1- unfinished 2- completely broken. Like, seriously, the brake lights are missing, the rear looks weird ( maybe because of the camera ?? ), the side mirrors are missing, at 120km/h, the windscreen wipers are moving like I've never seen them moving and the turbo gauge on the gps seems broken too, it should be at around -1 when not accelerating ( it's weird that GTSport doesn't have it though, gt5/6 had it ). GJ turn10 for that one.

It has still some other problems, wrong placed caliper, wing clipping, wrong headlight texture on the mk6 r and so on, the f1 rim has a bug since release. We still have last gen wheel models from older forzas in fm7, for example look at the flat low poly bbs rs or compare the wheels from fh1 and fm7. Shift animation is just copy & paste, mostly the hands/finger don't even touching the paddles. Detail and quality wasn't, sadly, t10's goal with fm7..

Thrill_Of _Speed literally all cars sound the like a V8 in Forza 7. GT Sport is not perfect but still more realistic.

I feel like Forza Motorsport 7 has one advantage over Gran Turismo Sport, and that's shadowing, I've just always felt that GT Sport's shadowing just felt a bit too... I guess, unrefined, is how you would say it. However, GT Sport definitely takes the win with everything else, such as reflections, sounds, lighting, etc.. I also do wish that GT Sport did the R35 GT-R's performance display like FM7, idk why they did it with GT6 _(and gt5 probably, although i've never played it),_ but not GT Sport. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Forza 7: Great Car list, some good sounds (some are way too over exaggerated), great detail in cars, actual career mode unlike GT Sport. GT Sport: Awesome lighting engine, much improved sounds, only just over 160 cars, no dynamic weather, less tracks (more fantasy than real), impeccable detail in cars. Both are awesome games but it comes down to one thing. Do you want a GT-R to sound like a straight-6?

This time GT sport has superior sound. I'm sorry, I don't care what you /want/ cars to sound like, they just don't sound as good as Forza portrays them sounding. The reality is that Gran Turismo actually has not been terribly far off on exhaust note (just on intake noise), and have now made the cars sound about as realistic as I've heard yet.

Took my preorder off the XBOX ONE X after reading and understanding what GT is doing to the franchise. Got the Pro and GTS same day. People must understand that GTS is not a finished project. It’s a introduction to what they solely want the focus to be when GT7 actually hits. It’s building a community of real race car gamers that will learn how to drive from different techniques and Skills provided by the licensing, challenges and Time trails it offers in campaign mode. Right now GT does have the upper hand. The feel to the game is more realistic and the sound is dead on, just not over pitched like Forza franchise. As far as screen visuals, GTS takes it. This is coming from a guy who played Forza since #1 after being turned away from GT because of the lack of. Yes Forza has more content and more tuning and that sort but just for NOW. I’m guessing PS5 will see GT7 and I guarantee Forza will finally be out done.

GTS is just a introduction to GT7. You folks watch it! Same thing they did with Prologue but just this time around it’s a lot better. More immersive in trying to get you skilled! Revised online world etc....

I never thought that I will ever say that, but GT sounds better than Forza. Big improvment over the vacuum cleaner sounds of GT5&6. On the gameplay Forza looks a bit more slippery and tends to oversteer.

No side mirrors & tail lights on FM7 GT-R 😮. I remember when GT5 was underrated & criticised a lot compared to FM4 ,but the tables have turned around after 6 years. Older games were much better & more fun to play with than new ones & that's what polyphony had in mind when they made this game, nostalgia in the most modern way possible.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate forza's sound in the gtr? It legit makes you think you're driving a v12 at max speed. Shit now that i mention it, im not driving a v12 and im not driving at max speed....
