*I distinctly remember being in my car, wiring money to my savings account while in my car on my lunchbreak...you see, that savings account...i had it for one specific reason, i was going to commit suicide as soon as my saving account hit 7,000 [i was actually at 5,600, i was so close] which was enough for my extended family to afford something basic like cremation, i didnt want to give them the burden of dealing with a funeral. Anyway. That day, it was 2 days after the album had dropped in May...i heard Paradise...i read along with the lyrics and there was something in them that literally told me everything i wanted to hear, i had lost my older brother and parents....the people that i loved were gone, what was the reason for me being here? i felt like i wasn't doing enough, like no matter how much i tried i wasn't succeeding fast enough, i simply wasnt enough...and Paradise...Paradise made me cancel that savings account...and I've been alive for 2 years...its 2020 now and im still here. Im still trying and stopping to rest, and enjoy the view, im still breathing*
