Jack, If You're Reading This, It Means That I Will Be Ending An 8-Year Relationship. The Relationship Being Me No Longer Being A Part Of This Community. Why, You May Ask? Well, The Near-Constant Drama Going On In The Community Taking Its Toll On My Mental Health. The Duncan Burden Drama Made Me Decide To Go To Other Sites Where I Can (Hopefully) Find Other Communities I Can Be A Part Of Without The Near Constant Drama I'm Seeing Here (Those Sites Being Reddit And Tumblr (Reddit's On Fire At The Moment And I'm More Active On Tumblr Than Reddit Nowadays)). What Made Me Snap And Want To Leave This Community Is When One User Exposed Clayton Condo For Being Friends With A Controversial User (I Checked His Subscriptions And He's Not Subscribed To Him As Far As I Know). After I'm Done Commenting My Usual Comments, I'm Leaving And Moving On. On The Off Chance I Come Back, I Want To See The Following Changes (Read Thoroughly So No One Gets Any Wrong Ideas): 1.Leave The GoAnimate/Vyond/Plotagon Mentalities At The Door. Not Every Controversial User Has To Be Talked About Like A Conspiracy Theory Or Hidden Secret (Phrases Like "America Will Know About This" Is A Fallacy Because These Issues Are Only Community-Specific). 2.Stop Mixing Awful People With People Who Have Bizarre Fetishes. We Got Sex Offenders Like Duncan Burden And Samuel O'Grady And Bigots Like Dan Sobel, But MrAcrizzy Is Somehow The Worst Of The Worst? Don't Get Me Wrong, I'm No Longer A Fan Of Him And I Stopped Watching His Videos (And Unsubbed) Earlier In The Year But To Play Devil's Advocate Here, Having A Hard-On For Cartoon Characters Is Not The Same As McDreamy Sleeping Around Or Jeffery Epstein's General Nastiness. Unless We Have Solid Evidence Of Alec Doing It With Actual Animals, We Should Move On From Him. 3.No More Shunning People For Being Subscribed To A Controversial Channel. I Am Still Subbed To Channel Awesome Despite The #ChangeTheChannel Drama Because I Like Watching Nostalgia Critic. If You Or Anyone Attempt To Shun Or Blacklist Me For Something To Do With This Comment, It Will Be In Vain Because One, I'm Leaving The Community So That Will Do Nothing And Two, Such A Blacklist Would Only Be Counterproductive To The Efforts Of Changing. 4.We Should Try Mending Fences. Yeah, There Are Some Who Are Too Far Gone (Some Of Which Mentioned Earlier In The Post) But Some Users (Like VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray Previews Australia, For Example) Were Called Out For Off-Color Jokes About Tragedies And Considering Where Said User Is At Now, Someone's Likely Thinking "It's My Fault, I Pushed Him To The Dark Side". Not To Mention I Saw First-Hand What It Was Like To Be Radicalized And I Wish I Could Take That Time Back. Luckily, I Saw The Light And Lived To Tell The Tale. That's Why I Think We Should Act Now And Prevent This From Happening And Repair This Community Once More. 5. We Need More New Blood. As In New Members Of The Community. We Should Teach Them Our Ways Like The Na'Vi Taught Jake Sully Their Ways. 6.Expanding Beyond Just Movie Collecting. I Do Not Want To Tell People What To Collect. I Want This Community To Expand Beyond Just Collecting Movies. There Are Other Forms Of Physical Media Like Music, Video Games Books And Comic Books (Which Other People In The Community Already Do Like Brandon Bott Collecting Music And Andrew Toone Collecting Video Games).
