For quad growth, the best exercise is definitely the squat. All variations will promote growth, however the hack squat puts more emphasis on the quads and its best to overload the muscle by performing about 4 heavy sets followed by high volume lower weight for 4 sets. It should be hard

I think hes resting too long in between reps on the seated calf raises. Ya cant train calves the same way ya train anything else. Your calves are under constant strain every time you walk..which is often. Calves are used to high reps, essentially. Hoss is doing 20 reps? He should be doing 50+ 3-4 times a week. Then they will grow!

How does a body builder have a gut? What's the point of eating 15000 calories. Is he competing for a strong man competition? You can only consume protein 5 times. So why on earth is he eating that much?
@muscleandstrength5 жыл бұрын
The 15000 cals was for fun. You can consume protein more than 5 times.
@Ghost.of.Nothing5 жыл бұрын
@@muscleandstrength for fun?? No wonder his physic isnt that great. Plus hes taking gear. You cannot absorb protein more than 5 times. It's called protein synthesis. It can occur 5 times. That's it. Hes literally just getting fatter. I get it. It's just clickbait, guys.. never ever eat 15000 calories ever. You get nothing from doing this. It literally becomes fat and doesnt promote positive growth, if you can absorb protein more than 5 times why isnt every body builder in the industry taking 30 shakes a day? Why? Because the body cant absorb it. It's pretty universally excepted. On top of that I see a 20000 calorie challenge from this guy.... like wtf? It's just unhealthy in all aspects.
@Libtardo1235 жыл бұрын
Wyatt Campbell 5 times a day? If you space out your meals you can maximize protein absorption. Just arbitrarily saying “5” isn’t scientific and varies among individuals and diets. I’m not saying it’s justified to eat so much but there are people like Michael Phelps that eat over 10,000 calories a day so their bodies can function
@Ghost.of.Nothing5 жыл бұрын
@@Libtardo123 man look it up. Eating that much protein is just dumb. It's a myth! The amount of protein you need is conducted by the amount of lean muscle mass you have. I weigh 200 pounds. So in order for me to gain muscle I need to eat 187 grams of protein. Not 600 like some of you morans think! So 187 divided by 5 is 32. 32 grams of protein per meal. 5 times. And that's for like maximum growth. I could eat 130 grams and still grow. There is this stupid myth in the industry that you have to eat 300 grams of protein. Look at any body builders eating plan. It looks identical to what I'm saying. They all eat 4-5 days a day. And the protein consumption is in line with there lean body mass. There is a limit with protein absorption. Even if you space it out? Do you really think you need to eat 300 grams everyday to grow? No its stupid!!! Stupid!!! And varies? Of course it does? It still doesnt change the fact that you can only absorb so much. After so much it gets converted into fat. Look it up! You dont want to eat that many calories with that much protein. It turns into fat
@Libtardo1235 жыл бұрын
Wyatt Campbell what I’m saying is you can space out the 200 G protein more than 5 times. Obviously, normal people shouldn’t eat 300 G protein, but there are some weird cases. The thing to remember is these bodybuilders are taking steroids so their bodies work differently. I eat around 7 times a day but I eat smaller meals. The digestive system takes a few hours to digestive so I eat every 3-4 hours. I’m a 195 lb guy and I eat around 200 lb as it’s hard for me to put on muscle. Most of the protein comes from protein powder in water which has very few calories.
