He said Dennis James is an upright honest guy.speaks his mind..then, .....he starts going on about Dennis James speaking badly and trying to influence his guest on his show. Talking about the Kuwait.. Ower of the gym who trains all the bodybuilders there...Regan Grimes..... making out Dennis James was putting words into his mouth...saying, things to influence Regan or make Regan tell lies or exaggerate the truth about his stay there.

They should get Fouad on the commentary for the Olympia to! And in my oppinion Fouad should do all the ifbb and npc show commentary from now on. And there are a lot of fans with me on that. No one wants Shawn Ray. We want uplifting good people, not constant bashing of the athlete's, not even knowing a lot of the athlete's names.

btw I think Fouad is onto something with a seminar for pro bodybuilders. But it could be a bit more, (like a series 7 for financial advisors, coupled with continuing education.) There could be a seminar/class in which some important information is given out. It can be logged into and watched by any ifbb pro whenever they have time. However, what proves that they have watched it (or proves that they already know the information that was given during the seminar is) they have to then take an online test and pass it regarding information that was given out during the seminar. That type of "forced education" would be the IFBB's way of showing that they care about the athletes, wants to educate them, and wants them to remain healthy. It doesnt ahve to be a super in depth endocronologist level test, but it would help everyone a ton. I feel that can be done online with a very low budget. It's like making a driver pass a drivers test before they can drive. Driving can be dangerous, the test doesnt elimnate all the risks on the road, but the roads are ALOT safer because people are required to pass a drivers test.

My take since my brother is a Cardiologist. Once a year physical along with labs along with a Calcium CT scan. The scan is the most important thing because this sport has a big problem with plaque build up in the arteries. This is just to show that the athlete is getting checked.

Awesome to hear he's shifting to BJJ! I started Jiu jitsu and judo after my last show, when I was 23 after nine years of competing. I got my Japanese jiu jitsu and judo black belts at 30 and my BJJ black belt at 39. I've been teaching for years now and owned my own academy. It's a great way to transfer your need for discipline and structure. Also, learning how to use your instrument will fascinate you. The biggest challenge for me was not using my strength at first and learning how to flow. after I'd shrunk down to normal size, my coach told me I needed to bring strength back into my game because I was too gentle. In my head I was still the 250 lbs 5'7" guy when I was now closer to 185-195. My first day of training a 150 lbs 60 year old pinned me in mount and I was hopeless. Been hooked ever since. Good luck and research the school before you sign up and check out the vibe in person. Be excited by being humbled, because the more humble you are, the faster you'll improve. Have fun!!!

Dennis love the show. I'm Indian and your made in India suits cracked me up. You're getting top notch custom tailored suits at a great price. I had Sergio Jr sit next to me at the 2019 Mr. Olympia. It was dark midway though the finals and I have what I think are two obese guys sit next to me. Im immediatly pissed off how are these two obese guys even bodybuilding fans ruining my show all coming into my seat. after the show.when we walk outside I see the same person being interviewed outside so I'm looking to see who is that ? Then I realized it was Sergio Olivia Jr wearing a suit. To me he looked like an obese guy walking around. It tells you its better to have a well fitting cheap suit than an ill fitting expensive suit.

Absolutely love Big Foo's line of thinking with the mandatory seminar and regulations involving health checks. Some people get so caught up in the moment, or such tunnel vision with their goals that they just don't care about the interim. In their eyes, the ends justifies the means. It doesn't only reflect poorly on the sport when heaps of athletes are dropping dead every month, but when these athletes get some clarity at the end of their career or end up on their death bed 30-40 years early, I'm sure themselves and their friends and family will be wishing they did some things differently.

Bodybuilders are the weirdest breed, if someone said, wow your losing weight, the majority of people would be over the moon, to a bodybuilder, its the biggest insult! 😂 ,,, by the way I live in England and still can't understand anyone from Liverpool!!! On a serious note, if all IFBB pros get tested once a year and it is progressively worse after three year's, you can't complete until it improves, pretty simple.

I don't see where having good or bad blood report has anything to do with getting on the stage? BBers for ages have reported to the stage to compete with horrendous Blood Work reports, and they have reported to the stage with great reports. Based on deaths, the main culprit has always been diuretics... not elevated Cholesterol, Elevated Blood Pressure, Wild Diets etc I feel at best the athletes can be encouraged to get blood work done, encourage lots of cardio year long and to tame the PED use to what is only absolutely necessary to get the muscle growth they want, but denying them access to the stage at that point serves no purpose
@HOPIIK12
@HOPIIK12 2 жыл бұрын
I see the main flaw of Fouad's recommendation regarding bloodwork the fact, that the IFBB would have to set some standard maximum numbers for specific indicators like liver enzymes. The point is, they would not be able to set the number that is different from generally applied recommended ranges for that indicator.

In terms of the posing, I dont think judging the posing is a good idea because you're bring more subjectivity into it which is something we try to keep low so we can judge accurately. However I would like to see bodybuilders docked points for having awful routines where they just go out walk around and hit a few mandatories. Thats how I would encourage everyone to put some effort into their routines

Bodybuilding also doesn't pay their athletes. How you just referred about football and everybody else. All of their athletes have to get physicals and get screened and all this other stuff. But then by doing so they are susceptible to drug testing. And once the ifbb say they do open up one door. Start paying for whatever for the athletes . It's just going to keep going. They'll get pressured to hypotheticallygive the athletes insurance, or pay for plane tickets for a minimum base monthly salary. Because a lot of guys aren't sponsored either. But yet they have to pay to compete NFL and NBA pay their guys to compete and they give them bonuses and top-of-the-line insurance and everything else.like I said I don't know how exactly works but it seems like it's just going one way really.and I'm pretty sure last time I googled, the ifbb was a non-profit. So that means they don't even pay taxes or a lot of stuff tax write-off and they get money from the government LOL on top of collecting all the money for the pro cards. I'm a big fan of bodybuilding but I think like the Brandy nor ownership or something like that needs the change. It's easier said than done like I said because if the ifbb starts dictating or demanding or requiring drug testfor the athletes to compete. You only think the only way I could see it as ifthere's a loophole for third-party contractors cuz that's essentially what the competitors are.
