When it comes to the binge eating mentality and obsessing over food, you guys could not have explained it better

Just did my first show on Saturday. Had a good post show meal but started tracking macros again on Monday. Looking forward to growing this mass phase 💪

By far one of the best podcasts I've ever listened to! 💯🙏I am 3 weeks post my 1st show and this was everything I needed to hear/ wanted to hear. I am also an addict in recovery coming up on 6 years clean, So much a body building is so intertwined with this behavior. Body building has definitely helped me but I also think it could hinder somebody if they are not aware of behavior modification and mindset shifts... Thankyou for this episode!!!💯💗💯🙏

My second show I competed with a friend/teammate. We sent each other food all the time. Post show we both had cookies, and this and that. I ate so much I felt so sick and could barely move from the couch to bed once I was home later that night. Made me never want to do that again. The thought was way better then the aftermath.

Loved this episode. I’ve had issues with food my whole life, and only bodybuilders understand the psychology behind it. It feels nice to know others understand 🙏

Excellent episode! Really love the talk about understanding where an athlete is at in terms of their bodybuilding career and being neglectful as a coach. Understanding a first time competitor has years ahead and to not ruin and kill them in their first prep. Maybe that means pulling back a few weeks out and eating into the show to set them up better after the show so they’re not so food focused and they have better success long term. Great stuff guys I did this with an athlete of mine because she suffered from an eating disorder prior to coming to me for coaching. We were probably 90% but her psychological state after the show was something that was of great importance to me and having her calories at baseline two weeks into the show helped her hunger signaling and she didn’t binge eat like a lot normally do

This is such an amazing and important episode that most competitors need to listen to. Great discussion Gentlemen! I compete naturally and my first post show was rough, the second post show was smoother and now 2 weeks out from my third show (first of this season) has been the best yet and im not food focused whatsoever.

Salad after stage. Same breakfast you had during prep the next day. Then see how you feel regarding the cravings.

What do you recommend your competitors to do after a binge or cheat day on prep? Do they fast or get back on track?

Why do naturals always specify they’re doing a natural show 😂
