Found a Cute Style, but There's a Catch....

I kept her and ordered one in Velvet Cream. It's pretty and I've worn it a few times, but it's a bit dark for me at my age. I prefer lighter tones like in the Frosty Blonde HL so I may sell that one. It's a really nice wig, no question. I did trim some of the longer flippy nape layers and thinned both out below the mono top since this piece has a lot of hair. But, it's a keeper, no idea why TressAllure discontinued it so soon after release.

Thanks for the video. I just ordered her in Deep Sepia...I spent days looking at color reviews. The only issue I have with discontinued styles is they are "Final Sale, No Returns", I have wasted money buying online and being totally disappointed when the wig arrives. Fingers crossed on this one.

I have never returned a wig other than for a glaring defect. All my purchases are generally no returns since I buy them all on clearance or from Ebay. The great thing about this wig is that it is easily trimmed shorter and can be thinned out below the edge of the mono top (there is pretty much no permatease, but there is a good bit of hair for me, personally) Color is difficult, probably the hardest part of wig buying because of color representations on camera and on individual monitors. Good luck, hope you love it! If not, you could sell it on Ebay most likely. The cap is quite comfortable for anyone who is average size and the lace front is gorgeous, much improved over past years~C

After over 10 years of wearing wigs daily, I have narrowed it down to one wig. It is Noriko's Carrie. I have several on hand that I keep reviving with curling and trimming, so that the style looks different. I can't afford buying wigs , so the one that I do buy is my work horse wig that I can get to last for a couple of years.

Cute wig. I think we’ve all worn our hair like that. When I think about it, there are only so many styles that can be created to cut hair/wigs. After a while, the cuts mimic each other anyway. If I’m remembering correctly, it’s been a year now since I ordered a wig and close a year since I’ve wore one. My budget just doesn’t allow for it. I’m actually surprised you already bought another one after the debacle you went thru. Have a good week Cynthia.

You're right-there's nothing truly new in wigs, all variations of ones that already exist. I needed a more casual, easy to wear wig for the warm weather, but trust me, I also bought two new ball caps (one says Bad Hair Day) for most of my wear. I can't go without something because my hair loss is too extensive on top and sides, unlike many reviewers on this platform. The only reason I bought this wig was that it was far less than half retail price as well as an easy wear. I have far too many expenses at this point in time to buy another-car repair, new heat pump, roof repair and cleaning, etc, but thankfully because of the choices we made over many years, we are debt free and pay cash for even the larger expenditures. That said, even in our position, I am very frugal with our $$. Who needs ten different wigs/styles anyway, right? We have a small house, no room for racks and racks of wigs. I have two styles, and the third is a backup for one of those. That's all other than the Sage I'm selling. If I still had my hair, I would never have started on this wig journey in the first place. And yes, I'm sick to death of the insanity that surrounds wigs, watching women buy wigs they can't truly afford week after week. Definitely there are more pressing matters in this world now than how much hair is on our heads! I've debated on simply closing down the channel permanently again. I am not sure leaving up the videos, even if I don't make anymore content, is all that helpful.

Love this style. Personally would NOT trim anywhere. I think this style is yes a shag yet still classic. Very flattering.

Thank you, Lynn. I can wear as-is, though I don't care for hair that flips outward at the nape. I won't take of much, if any, maybe an inch. I'll take some time to decide. She really is cute and sporty!

The wig looks great on you. Makes no sense for them to discontinue it…..if it was due to low volume of sales, they should have dropped the price point, and they probably would sell a lot of wigs. I think a lot of people would like the cut.

Lynn, unless you belong to a Facebook group or start a channel to sell them, I really don't know. I only offer mine here, don't belong to Facebook, no wig groups. Ebay has horrible fees, but it is an outlet for that. I can't even recommend a FB group since those can be tricky and I have been out of touch for a long time with that type thing.

Looks great on you. I really liked the color and realized that it was the same as my Charlie. I prefer waves on me, but the shag layers break up the line enough. Good luck.

Thank you, she's a cutie. I did thin out the more dense sides and trim the nape a little so it suits me even better. I don't know why they would discontinue this wig! Well, maybe because it's regular synthetic and they want everyone switching to heat friendly, mainly, IMO, because they generally wear out faster, forcing another purchase. TressAllure's regular fibers are super nice and last a long time.
