Exactly, it's like OP mentioned in the video that these "girl's trips" are usually cover ups for cheating and meeting other people as others pointed out to him in the post. People in relationships shouldn't be going to certain places alone period, nothing controlling or insecure about not wanting your significant other, the person who basically represents you, out and about appearing single and actually acting on those appearances. I think all these modern manipulation tactics of calling the man insecure or controlling or yada yada are just that, shaming tactics so that women get their way and you end up raising someone else's kids, cause i guarantee OP would be raising Evan's kids later on if he didn't find out. There's a reason why they say to watch a woman's friends... This kind of stuff has been pulled on men since the dawn of time actually, that's why men don't like other men around their women, men evolved in a way where their only assurance that the children are theirs is the fact that there are no other men around and the wife's word, for most of our history there was no way for a man to tell if he were raising his kids or not other than keeping a close eye on his wife's actions. It's not controlling or insecure to not want to raise some other dude's children, it's an evolutionary gut punch and a genetic dead end for your lineage, something our subconscious learned to punish us heavily for, that's why we have these gut feelings when something feels wrong, that's because there probably is.

People on Reddit needs to understand that “girls trips are often covers for cheating” and “cheating is often done under the guise of girls trips” are two different things. In one you’re saying legitimate girls trips are rarer than ones used as cover and in the other you’re saying that it is one of the more common excuses for cheating, the latter being the reasonable take.
