As someone with depression.. sometimes the feeling of wanting to commit suicide is synonymous with wanting to disappear. You don’t want to die per se. It’s just sort of a desperate feeling of how do I change things to make this feeling stop. Well death would certainly stop the feeling, right? But maybe if i just totally changed my life and start over I can feel better. Putting on a happy social front is totally exhausting and sometimes you just feel like a big liar to everyone. A feeling of guilt is associated so you want to get away from those people you feel like you’re deceiving.

When my dad was 15, his mom was going to pick up his eight year old sister. The school was just a block away from where they lived, so she walked. An hour later the school called my grandpa asking if someone was coming to pick up Emily from school. He got worried because Susan, (My dads mom) had left to get her, but clearly didn’t. He went and picked her up from school, and then the whole family started looking for her. People looked for like a year about, but not even a trace of her was found. Now almost twenty years later she is still not found. I always wondered why kids or what ever go missing, and people don’t stop searching till they’re found. I just wish we could still look for her. 😕

If scoop was making friends by throwing money around he probably thought people just liked him for his money. its very possible he was suicidal and thought no one would care if he disappeared, so i believe he could of been telling the truth.
