I just heard them. They are MOST DEFINITELY real, which is the insane thing, I have no idea how these files were just left in there. AIs are notoriously awful at correctly getting Tom Kenny screaming right, especially as SpongeBob, and those clips were as clear as day. You can tell simply by the clarity that it’s not AI. This is the start of something massive guys.

I think the only way we'll be able to get a clear answer is if a Tom Kenny himself is shown the clips to confirm. Considering how much he wanted the episode leaked, I doubt he'd have much issues being show the clips. With that said, I don't trust these are real, or not both at least. The one of Spongebob yelling at the board game sounds on par, but the other feels so robotic or spliced together like each word came from something else. I don't get the argument on why this is more creditable either. Since a workprint has been found before, it's so easy to reference that or the other leaked stuff and mimic the part you'd want to add so the files look real. With how much people want the audio, the chance of someone wanting their 15 minutes of fame or start a bit of chaos for funsies is absolutely believable. Lost media ain't no stranger to those situations after all. I don't deny the chance of these being real, but more solid proof is needed before we latch onto them so closely. Some have pointed out the board game clip having an inaccurate mouth movements to the swear. Surprisingly enough, I actually don't consider that to be a sign of it being fake. It could be there were multiple takes and Tom Kenny had some fun by using different swears, the animators working with the gibberish audio version before the switch to real swears happened, or a choice to not have the mouth movement be a perfect match so kids couldn't pick up on the words as easily. But the proof we have of it being real is so little that I rather just wait till we get confirmation from any of the crew or more leaked/found stuff.

Honestly, the audio files on their own (at least the second one for me) wasn't super compelling to me. But that's only because I know how good impressionists can be and I also know how varied voice actors can sound - it wasn't compelling in either a positive or negative direction, I just genuinely wasn't sure. But being able to hear your perspective on the events and your evidence as to thinking why they're real in such a concise way really helped me understand your point that you made on Twitter. I was inclined to believe your eyewitness testimony, I just didn't really understand it at first - but now I do. So thank you for making this video! Just listened to both of them myself and it sounded very real. It doesn't sound AI generated at all. If you play the first clip and then listen to SpongeBob screaming in Season 2-3 animatics, it sounds very much like that. AI would never be able to generate such a convincing screaming voice. These are real audio files of SpongeBob swearing in Sailor Mouth. Never thought I'd live to hear it. This is a MAJOR find!!!!!! Let's hope we get more sometime soon!!!!

After hearing them, I compared them to how SpongeBob sounds in the raw audio clips that you can hear in the animatics included in the SpongeBob DVDs like when he screams in the first audio to how he screams in, let's say, the Wet Painters animatic here kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGq7mXl8fKh6fckfeature=shared&t=308 then you can hear that his voice in the first swearing clip sounds just like that as opposed to an AI screaming voice in which you can hear a very tinny and, well, artificial (where the name comes from I guess LOL) sound to it. That's my method to my madness. I mean, when I read my comment right now, it didn't really make sense to me either LOL sorry about that. I guess that's why you don't make comments at nighttime. But I hope this explain a bit!

It's probably sentence mixed. The "blow" sounds like it was taken from the scene where Spongebob has a bomb strapped to his chest. Specifically the "plo" in "explode". Not to mention it doesn't sound super natural as it's a bit more monotone than you'd expect.

I think we should look at leaks as a "You can't put the genie back in the bottle" sort of deal. I wouldn't encourage someone to hack into a corporation's databases to obtain files without permission (in most cases at least) but if it happens, well there's nothing you can really do about it after the fact. Once it starts making the rounds online, its pretty much fair game.

The debate of leaking lost media has been common in our sector, though I think there's more stake since our sector is controversial and also features real people. Most often than not these individuals would rather to not have their old stuff public due to shame and wanting to remain a private citizen. While there is some sort of "consensus" with the more serious people in the community like me, it would have been more hotly debated if many people in the community weren't so reckless and leaked things that were never meant to be public just for bragging rights.

Can’t comment on the live stream but a topic that could really use attention is a deleted scene from 1993 from the show Beavis and butthead episode “scratch n win” which has a 2 minute scene cut from the show,Due to the fire incident in Ohio the scene was cut before airing.the only evidence of its existence is a few animation cels and a film reel of about 2 seconds.

Funnily enough there is public audio of Tom Kenny swearing in Spongebob's voice. I can still see why they'd be protective of this, but it's not like it's impossible to hear this anyway. Either way, I hope we can find a full copy one day. Sadly the internet archive link has been taken down.
