I have dry skin and this foundation is absolutely fabulous on my skin. It has the perfect coverage for me and the finish is a chef's kiss. I have had so many foundation fails recently that I almost can't believe how good this one is. It is also very reasonably priced.

You might also like L’Oréal Age Perfect Serum foundation. The shade range sucks, unfortunately, but the finish is great, and it doesn’t settle in lines. I’m 52, and it’s my winter favorite. Great with just a light powder on top.

@@mandycoleman1394 Sure! I hope it works for you, although nothing is universal, I find it to be awesome. And lord knows I can’t do the same makeup post-fifty as I did in my 30’s, and even 40’s. Just a few tips, I’ve found I like to use my fingers to apply, it will look sorta oily and maybe smeary, but just let it sit and warm up on your skin for a minute, then go over with a beauty blender and set with a *very* light dusting of powder. Doesn’t cling to my peach fuzz, dry spots, and even looks decent in the crease of my nose where everything seems to look terrible! Also, I’ve not experimented with different primers, but I didn’t like elf primer putty and this. I just don’t use primer with it at all.

I tried theirpowder and it’s amazing . I love it and I haven’t found a powder iv loved since múfe discontinued their duo matte powder. It’s so light yet mattifying . And leaves no ashy white cast or powdery cakey ness. Just beautiful

I love Lys foundation!!!! Been using it for about 8 months. I started using it at the end of last summer, when my olive skin had a slight tan. I loved it so much, that at the Sephora sale I bought 3 more shades (for winter and in between). It has skincare benefits, amazing. I use it by itself, or sometimes I put Ilia sunscreen serum underneath! It’s so good for my skin!!!

My combo oily / oily leaning is not cooperative with serum foundation. It becomes an oil slick rather than radiant. Applying foundation cakes up in few hours.☹️

I'm not familiar with this brand, but the Bobbi Brown Serum Foundation is my absolute new favorite. The Armani Luminous Silk was drying me out, and Chanel Sublimage, although it feels AMAZING, doesn't have enough coverage. And for once, there's actually a shade that's not too "yellow" for me.
