All the epos and meaning the first season had went to shit in the second one. Idk if it was different showrunners or whatever, but the magic and storytelling that the first season did so well is completely gone by the time we reach season 2. None of it follows the books. The books are simply used as inspiration to tell a story, using elements from The Foundation, Galactic Empire, Robot and other series from Azimov. It is an original story, not an adaptation.

aside from these bad inclusions the story is ok. diversity is certainly always a bad thing. there's also a distinct lack of pretty women which is not cool as well. the supernatural series has hot skinny white women nearly every episode its like we get suffocated from all the ugliness in the world now. I'm not white btw.
