What’s the fall needed on the soil pipe inside the house that’s in the floor? And what’s the fall needed outside?
@foundationgood1234 жыл бұрын
Hi, its 1 in 10 for both...

@@foundationgood123 1 in 10 seems steep - I thought soil pipes were 1 in 40 at the steepest but anything to 1 in 80 is ok?
What's the Makita drill you're using? I have a similar job that needs doing but just a DIYer 😜

Hi Chris, Beautifull work, thank you for your time. What have you done with the sink drain pipe? I have almost the same setup and wondered, is there a separate drain in the round from the soil pipe? How does it work?
@foundationgood1234 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for watching and commenting- To answer your questions firstly the sink drain connects to the toilets outlet fitting that connects to the orange ground pipe bearing in mind the sinks pipe has a trap stopping any smells. Secondly, there isn’t a separate pipe in the ground only one, the toilet connecter has pipe adapter inlets for the sink, if you google toilet inlets with adapters they will come up and you will see what I am trying to explain..hopefully that helps😊

@@foundationgood123 a plumber told me that this set up (were the basin waste connects to toilet outlet) might experience gurgling when the toilet is flushed. is that the case??
@geoffball58033 жыл бұрын
@@stephenwilliams1286 that would be easily solved with an air admittance valve after the basin waste trap 👍👍
