It is a nightmare, and you express exactly how we feel. Non-singers really don't understand. Whenever I get something it always seems to go straight to my chords! I do tell the audience sometimes about my voice though, I make a joke about it, and I do it if I have performed for them before. You say about acidity, how about lemon when I drink hot honey, ginger & lemon? I have had to sing every day this Christmas season, and only had to cancel two shows. But it is very stressful, as you say, no sing, no pay. Thank you for the advice. Good luck to anyone with a cold, flu or infection etc x

Omg this was the most encouraging uplifting video I’ve seen with what I’m dealing with right. I too have 3 assignments coming but I know I will get through it.

Lowering the key, changing arrangements can also help making easier for the voice .

I've experienced singing in a big concert when I had a terrible cold but believe it or not, it was one of my best singing experiences ever. After the performance I felt even better. Thanks for sharing your tips cause I used some of them and they really worked for me. ❤

In America it's throat coat tea and throat coat lozenges by traditional medicinals that teachers recommend.

That last part makes me feel better about the 2 days I unknowingly still went to work at a call center ( I WFH) with a mild case of covid and the few karaoke songs I did on StarMaker in those 2 weeks when I was bored because I didn't want to lose my favorite coloring book if I sneezed. I didn't know not to sing when you're sick, but I still got lots of rest because I was sleeping a lot. This was back in December and I can still do the same songs I normally show off with, so I don't think a couple stupid mistakes did anything given the ungodly amount of water I was drinking

We have to be careful with our voice cause singing with a cold can affect on your health .Recently I had to sing with a cold in front of my whole class and I just flopped cause it got worser and worser and next day I was suffering from fever , cold which has already clogged my lungs with mucous and vocal inflammation! Basically I can sing with cold but sometimes your cold may get worse ! I couldn't breathe after singing and my cold got worse so did my voice !

I sang last night with a cold. This morning my voice feel raw and weak. Ibthink i still have the flue. Is it normal for my voice to feel weak unable to talk much?
@lanas_lemonsyt68663 жыл бұрын
You probably sang to hard or tried to hard so it effected your voice the next day .
@lanas_lemonsyt68663 жыл бұрын
You should just rest your voice for a bit

I mean, that's what she's here for. 😂 It'd be really awkward if she made an almost twenty minute long video of her just staring at the camera without a word. 😂
