I worked with Pete Forbes for a number of years, a wonderful man, with amazing stories...he opened my eyes....wonderful musician...used to visit the Foundry Bar in Arbroath...incredible nights...

I had a friend in Lincoln England..... an old Scottish chap who introduced me to Jim Reids music 30 years agao and Ive never stoppped listening to it. My Favourite is the Braes of Rohallion

I was at a concert one evening a few years ago now at the Park Hotel Montrose and Jim Reid stated they were never ever The Foundry Bar Band that they were simply The Foundry Band.They were a good band all the same.
