this isn’t just a philosophy, but it is the truth, and it’s reality (john 14:6). GOD came unto the earth in the likeness of man and HE took the lowly position of a bondservant (philippians 2:7), not to be served, but to serve, and to give HIS Life as a ransom for many (matthew 20:28). we are not saved because of our own goodness/works, since no one is good (morally perfect), except One, that is, GOD (mark 10:18), but we are saved by the unmerited love and favor of the LORD through faith in HIM and what HE did for us (ephesians 2:4-5). every man is given all he needs to live a godly life through the knowledge of the LORD (2 peter 1:3). each and every one of us must confess of our sins to the FATHER, we must repent (acts 20:21), and we must strive to live our lives all to the glory of GOD in every aspect (1 corinthians 10:31). if we confess our sins, GOD is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness (1 john 1:9). when you’re a new creation in CHRIST, old things pass away and all things become new (2 corinthians 5:17)!

Can you imagine if we all were students of Fountainview Academy how very different our thoughts and actions would be! All the hatred, intolerance and perceived wrongs would be replaced with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, humility, self-control, acceptance, tolerance, and forgiveness. If every youth was like Fountainview students, what a safe, happy, caring and loving world this would be! It would be a reflection of Heaven on Earth! what I get from this song being sung on the rocks rising above the raving waves is that there are souls that are drowning (perishing) in willful sinning or as a result of ignorance whilst those of us who claim to be in the service of the Lord are doing very little 🤔 or just busy getting rich thinking more of ourselves.
