Four beachgoers hurt by possible shark bites

Sandbridge beachgoers were shocked to learn that four people have been bitten within the last four days by something at the beach. Virginia Beach EMS has not officially confirmed these bites were from a shark, and are still waiting to confirm the cause of the incidents.

Overfishing and pollution is drawing sharks closer to the shore. For example, fish come in close for the trash in the water and sharks follow. There is a big problem with waste being dumped into oceans. People will think the populations are increasing but in reality their numbers are declining and most species of sharks are endangered … this is bad because sharks are like the immune system of the ocean in the way they feed on the sick, injured, or dead marine life.. however the ocean is important for all life on earth, and up to 80% of the oxygen we breathe is produced by the ocean
