According to the research I've done, the HBT Daisy May cap saw almost no use in Europe. It saw limited use in it's light shade OD3 color in North Africa and Sicily, but was completely dropped by the time Italy was invaded. It continued to see service in the Pacific though. Another fun fact: the HBT pants especially were used as a windbreaker for troops in Europe over their wool pants to stay warm in winter when they didn't have M43s.

Weird thing is I wasn't nervous, I think that's just how I talk normally. It's also completely unscripted so it takes a second sometimes to remember the word I was thinking of lol
