I’ve always did the twisting method. But you actually did this method with more detail than wat I do when I trim. I twist all the way to the ends, and watever loose hair that don’t go up into the twist, gets taken OFF. Thank u for upgrading my method sis♥️🤞🏽

This tutorial is very informative. I am going to attempt the banding method as i think it's the easiest of all. I trimmed my hair before and it didn't come out even. My hair is also not as even as before but if I can master this, I will be on the road to hair recovery.

The 4 styles are best for people who we’re their natural hair a certain way. The first one is for naturals who blow out their hair a lot and do stuff with that. The second one is for guys and gals who love a good wash n go the third is good for people who like twists outs rod sets abs the last one is good for making shape.

I agree to an extent. According to Anthony Dickey, he said that if you truly want to see your split end properly, the hair shouldn't be in its curly state which I agree with because if you want to do a proper trimming, the banding method she did first really hit the nail on the head while the rat tail comb is a bit advanced for those who doesn't have a trained eyes or hand for shaping. Your videos always come just when I need them. I’m pre-stretching my hair to blow it out tomorrow and already did a precursor trim but I’m going to do another one and use the banding method. I REALLY want the Dyson dryer but I already have the Revair and my wallet says “no thank you” lol

This was awesome! Wish I had this information two weeks ago.. I went to the salon.. she cut a lot my hair off…thinking I was getting a good trim, but after I shampoo and condition my hair I noticed just how much split ends were left ☹️cost me $40 bucks and I still need another trim! Yes, the see through ends compared to the roots and down the length is a clear sign. I would suggest feeling feeling towards the ends for the gritty bits 💕

You have dark roots, it seems like you just colored your hair. You hair grows so fast! I find that that twisting method works for me. I’ve tried other methods and my hair is still recovering from those bad “trims”
