I'm a 19 year old Nigerian female who recently went natural about a year ago. BUT, I didn't start REALLY taking care of it regularly until a few months ago...when I got my hair done and the lady told me I'm losing hair in the middle. I went cold Turkey on unhealthy hair habits and bought a whole new hair care collection. I bought almost the entire line of AUSSIE MOIST (shout out to Isi) and it is so amazing. My edges have grown and my hair is brimming with life. I haven't used the shampoo or conditioner but I'm very excited to soon. I want to really grow out my hair. I use extra dark jamaican castor oil, the leave in and some vitamin e oil all over my head for growth. here's something I started doing to release stress and pressure on my edges when I cornrow my hair for wigs. - part a small section in the front of your hair. Then part that section in two (vertically). Then, cornrow each side, could be 2-4 braids depending on how thick the section/your hair is. Cornrow the hair you left out, as usual (make sure to add the ends of the anchor braids.) This method is amazing cuz all the weight of your hair is no longer on your edges. It's distributed a few iinches back where your hair is usually less fragile.

My right is always shorter than my left and it's also the most stubborn. I can't stand it honestly😩My nap also grows in the fastest as well. I never have the patience or the guts to trim my own hair. I do very light minimal dusting while my hair are in twists as needed in between trims. Due to the nature of my hair it's just more prone to split ends so I get my hair trimmed every three to 4 months to keep it healthy as it grows out. When done in a timely manner those trims turned into dustings for me👌

Your hair is so healthy 👍🏾😍😍. I’m going to start following your routine to help my hair grow longer. My hair is 4b/4c and is about the same length as yours. Goal is to get waist length hair ✌🏾✌🏾
