Solid video. Liked the Behind the scenes Subway shot. Val had some great shots in there also. Nice airiel footage of the lakes and mountains enjoyed it all. Thanks.

beautiful vid, great music! my friend & I have time set aside to do western Montana in July and we have yet to pick a hike... this is at the top of my list but I'll have to check on fire damage : (

Sadly, this was a huge fire last year. I don't know what the trails look like. Hopefully they are not too bad.

Enjoyed this one also but regret the all the fires in your world this summer. Good to see Joey make a guest appearance since he's gone dark on his channel. The drone shots are working!

Sadly this whole area was hit really hard by a fire. None of it looks like the way it did in the video now.

This route is great, though it won't be the same now. Sadly a couple weeks after we did this hike, lightening started a fire that has been burning since early July and has now burned most of the area we hiked... and it is not out yet.

Great video! I love that trail! No matter what the fire does it will still be a special beautiful area. Thanks for sharing.

It is a great area! That area on the other side of the ridge from Goat Lakes was burned back 2015 and it's coming back.

How fortuitous! My wife and I are heading to this area in a couple weekends for a biking/camping/hiking/floating adventure. We are starting by biking Hiawatha and then spending the night in Wallace (I'll keep my eyes peeled for that Radio Brewing Co - I love finding new, good breweries). We are then heading over to Thompson Falls and spending a few nights at the state campground. We'll float one of the days (bikes come in handy for shuttling) but we'd like to get in a good dayhike. We'd planned on hitting Mt Silcox but I'm open to suggestions (we can drive a bit) if you have them (8-12 miles). We hope the Thorne Creek fire is under control and we don't get smoked out. Again, beautiful footage! And ridge walks are the best!
@mountainwanderer3 жыл бұрын
That sounds like an amazing trip! You'll have to go to Kellogg to hit Radio Brewing, but there are also 2 breweries in Wallace. Hopefully they have the fire until control by the time you get there.

@@mountainwanderer We had to modify our trip a couple times, but still ended up having a great time! We mainly ended up in the St Joe drainage, even though there are fires there as well. Couldn't get as far up as we would've liked. Still a lot better than being at work! :)
