It's a good thing because you guys can keep the best talent to yourselves rather than like in Brazil or Africa where the best players go to Europe and the local leagues can't develop. If anything it should be European players going to play in Liga MX to experience a different kind of football
@angelrobles72014 жыл бұрын
tl;dr Talented players want to get to the big clubs ASAP. The promoting network doesn't help too. There are 2 problems: 1)Many of the talented players are inflated by the press: "This boy could play for this big team..." "This boy should be playing in Spain/England right now..." So, when an offer arrives from a minor club or a minor league, they either reject it outright, or use it as a bargaing chip for a better contract. One exception was Miguel Layún, when he signed with Watford (back in the Championship); the press killed him, saying that it was a step backwards, and even Miguel Herrera (Mexico's manager) said he would reconsider calling him. 2)Even if a player decides to break free and go to an European adventure, his decision shouldn't go against the promotion network that rules Mexican football, the so-called "Pacto de Caballeros" (Gentlemen's Pact). I still remember a chill-inducing interview to a team owner: "I went with X for breakfast, we talked, then shook hands, and this two guys were part of the team. Then I flew to meet Y, we talked, then shook hands, and I sent him this guy while he send me this other guy". I think a kid harbors more respect to his Tops cards or Panini album stickers than those "gentlemen" have for the players of their teams. With that system going on, it's quite difficult for a Mexican player to get out of the league, because the "gentlemen" could move him without asking him, and if he breaks free and goes as free agent, whenever he wants to come back, he'll surely find closed doors.

Ricardo even though they play different roles, the talent is evident that Rodríguez is better. He’s the type of midfielder that knows how to create and control the ball in the final third without worries. Jonathan is good as a defensive midfielder but he doesn’t have the creativity or the passing, even though his passing isn’t bad. Carlos moves all over the pitch, moving left or right to wherever needed, and he comes down the pitch to help recover the ball while jonathan plays more in the middle or in his third. Joel Castro Chivas sold orbe because they/chivas needed the funds at the time. Also why they cut ties with hc Matias almeyda, he had a decent contract 💰. Both departures were a huge blow to the club in my opinion🐐
@JoelCastro52064 жыл бұрын
@@cvstormed Chivas fans are sentimental about Almeyda being fired but it made no sense to keep him, we were playing totally garbage in the league alone we lost 15 games from the apertura and clausura and finished the Apertura in 17th with 15 points he had to go he was terrible even down the stretch when we won the league, closed out the run to the liguilla terrible, clutch in the liguilla but the warning signs were there even when we won the league Orbe was more of a loss to the team then Almeyda, even then Orbe was sold for not only his Character issues which he had several outbursts but because he had regressed and just stopped performing trust me Chivas dont need any money so thats not why he was sold

Joel Castro it’s not sentimental at all. Chivas was garbage for a phattt minute but almeyda brought glory back to Chivas without a doubt. Even if a missed pk call could have potentially changed the outcome of that one final 🐅where they did choke at the end but result was deserved. Chivas invested 30+ million on players this past season, why couldn’t that same trust could have been placed under Matias??? Higuera should have left like he did and not Matias. Out of curiosity, why only four players in this video? The series is a great way to showcase young talent, and narrowing it down to 5 already means having to overlook a lot of strong candidates (even though there are honorable mentions at the end of each iteration, it's just the name-position-club). So why cut it down even further to 4? I want to hear about more players, Tifo! Keep up the good work; these videos and so many others you create are fantastic for visualizing the game.
