So anyone under 65 would carry the tax burden? For decades, social security is paying out more than it's receiving. Starting with Millennials, there's a beneficiary cut of 20-30%. As an example, John, who is 28 year old now, is paying a higher property tax (because seniors are exempted), and expected to receive less from SS than his father did. To make ends meet, John has little choice but to be on welfare programs (paid by other tax payers), or search for higher wages (which causes inflation rate higher) that he can stay afloat until he dies.

If you really wanna truly ease congestion, besides that slow, the growth don’t give out so many building permits, allow buffer zones don’t jam everyone together that is easily controlled by government, but they don’t do it. The key to ease congestion in any metro area is law enforcement. Its not rocket science. Those videos showing Tesla videos where the attacker was allowed to drive away and the victim was told not to get their hopes up is the number one reason for congestion.
