He's saying the post was unprofessional because the salesman was using swear words in every single sentence, which I agree is pretty unprofessional. You can be funny and keep it family friendly as well seeing how you are a professional business, no need start cursing all over your ad.. If I was the manager I'd be a little pissed about that also, he's just lucky it went viral in a good way.

Beautiful Edit - But you would be surprised how being upfront with customers pays off. A=A, B=B, I am here to make money, and I will try to make this a win-win for us. What do you know, that's enough to have plenty of people recommend you. There will always be the unreasonable ones, especially nowadays where a lot of people are actually on psychiatric medication, but those people are often impossible to please anyways. The more or less normal people who become loyal repeat and referred customers are way more than enough to give you the ability to earn without you needing to seek extra business.

Lagon78 - To who's standards though, you and corporate America. No...your wrong. The system is only designed to sell the product and he did that. Your 2 personal. Selling the car is the professional part thats the part you fail to realize. Just because you dont like the delivery doesn't mean it wasn't and effective approach, thats what makes you and anybody that think like you more personal then professional then you think. It's not just your way of thinking and doing something. The End!!!!!!!!

laylay beautiful Do you even know what unprofessional means? It means contrary to the standards expected in a particular profession. It is expected that as a used car salesmen you do not swear in your advertisements. In the US, it is expected that an advertisement doesn't contain profanity. That's just what American's expect. Personally, I don't care. I think the level of customer service focus for businesses in the US is absurd. But it's undeniable that a used care salesman in the US swearing in an advertisement is unprofessional.

I worked at BMW in Charlottesville VA. I was forced to cover up so much shit barely scraping by on a meager paycheck while being told that I was going to be fired if I didn't sell more. They don't care how you do it. Just sell. Luckily I got out of there and retrieved my soul. Life has been real ever since.

$18000 for a new car over 6 years is about $350/month when you include taxes in the financing. Sure, after 6 years, it'll likely last you for several more years but it's not guaranteed to. Just like this car will likely last more than a few months, but it's not guaranteed to. Any car that lasts for 5 years for $5000 without major repairs is a great deal and you won't find that often, trust me.

God is testing u. Are u being honest to sell cars or are u being honest because u love honesty ?? Being honest just to sell cars is a form of dishonesty. What do u do when honesty doesn’t sell cars ??? Only when u can stick to your honesty while you are not selling cars can you say you love honesty. In most cases - when honesty quits selling cars you start lying again. Cling to your honesty in the downturn and when God notes your honesty the downturn will pass.

An honest car salesman is a newsworthy event for sure, that's why I'm savage when it's time to buy a car, I am flipping ruthless. I will call like 10 dealerships and let them all know I'm calling other places, ask for the lowest price, and go to the one with the lowest offer. NO MERCY.

@@lildad559 It's better to find a dealer and work with them for the lowest price, if you're a serious buyer and they can detect that they'll work with you as best they can. At the end of the day, you wanna buy just as much as they wanna sell. If you call 10 places and don't come in and just ask for the lowest price and say you're gonna call elsewhere, they're not gonna take you as seriously - throw you a number, and call it a day. Put in a little effort and go to the dealership physically, talk to a salesmen and see what you can do. Then maybe try one or two more and round back to who can get you the best deal, or call after the visit.

I bought an 01 sienna minivan from them and I knew what I was getting when I bought it. They don't hype things, are fairly priced for what you get. I still have that van today and it is still running great, even with 230000 miles on it. That is what brought me to them, was the honest vibe I got from their ads. It was matched in person.

Zida Perrson That's probably it, unfortunately. I would say it's baby boomer logic (not to say every baby boomer's like that, just the more dominating examples from the generation) still being played in today's marketing scenario, yet even Troma (a company owned/founded by a 71 year old) does honest and humorous marketing schemes, yet for an indie film studio/distributor, it actually does pretty well compared to a lot of other companies like it.

its always best to be honest so buyers can make the appropriate repairs in order to keep the vehicle working, instead of saying the vehicle is good to go and letting em drive it to the point the unknown problems become severe. A $500 dollar repair can easily become a $2000 repair if neglected.
