I’m so happy for Russ…and, grateful for his cousin Mary and his family and friends, Joel Schwartz, Chris Hayes, the Post-Dispatch and Cathy Singer, et al….for their perseverance and never giving up!

I don’t see anything wrong w his phone call. Why can’t people realize he was in severe emotional shock and couldn’t evaluate what he was seeing. So weird they can’t understand.

yep. after this situation first happened and the police honed in on the 911 call, I learned 911 operators have strategies to calm down a freaked out caller by asking for details like location, etc, but if the caller has a few seconds they will start thinking about the shocking aspect of why they called in the first place, and dispatchers call it a "refreak". A 911 dispatcher went through Russ' call and said she didn't hear it as "someone *acting* distressed, but someone that is 'refreaking'" kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpOzgHqrbK6pbJY&ab_channel=ChrisHayes

Unfortunately there are people who have committed the crime who act the way he did, the difference being is he obviously did not do anything wrong! Edit: I was just giving an example as to why they were suspicious of him.

The show accurately portrayed Pam. If you watch the real tapes of Pam you can see the eerie similarities.

Yes Renee Zellweger did a fantastic job. Honestly nailed the character. She perfected the ill vibe of Pam. You can really see her fake smile while she hurts you tone. Creepy woman. I had a friend like her once. She was making me sick. I finally ended up in the hospital. All the while acting like my best friend and co worker. She made me sick and robbed the company for thousands of dollars. Luckily she got fired and I came back to work. Cuz I would not work with her. She is still out there. I could never prove it. However I haven't been sick since she has been gone. So ya there are nutty wack jobs everywhere. Be careful..

I am happy for Russ, but sad that the girls and him don't talk anymore.💔 Maybe, people will start looking into our messed up judicial system more now. The family court is beyond messed up in Madison county Il. Making kids go to visit their abusers without ANY safety protocols in place. All about the lawyers making money, nothing to do with the best interests of the kids. Sad and wrong...😒

Anyone with even a crash course in psychology would say that everyone deals with trauma differently.. Russ’s phone call did not seem off in the slightest. This was confirmation bias all the way with the police and prosecution. Very much looking forward to seeing the outcome of the prosecutorial and investigative misconduct investigations. Get em.. slime sometimes wears a badge and holds an office.

If you watch the newest dateline “The Real Thing About Pam” you realize Pam and Leah are two of the same. She says the Luis murder has nothing to do with Betsy’s murder. I can not stand her!
@haleyjade6853
@haleyjade6853 2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely not. And honestly, even tho she’s never actually come out and said it, the way she talks in interviews seems like she’s still saying she sent the right man to prison. I mean, now with all the new information we have you’d have to be a fool to think Russ actually committed this crime. Yet Leah seems to act like she still made the right choice. It’s very bizarre.

I think the light cartoon vibe is like what's going on in Pam's head. Just la de da no thought or care to the lives she destroyed in her wake. Its mind bending. Especially Russ and Mariah. So many people suffered and had their lives completely ruined. The DA & judge and original cops deserved the defamation 💯. In a discussion we pondered how many other people may have been shafted. Russ had an army of angels on his side bringing justice. How many don't.

It's so sad. COrruption is rife!! The stories about murder and mayhem are no longer about the criminals and their victims. Those are often pretty straight forward stories. What following True Crime has revealed lately is that the intrigue comes in trying to figure our where the corruption in the judicial process stepped in and fucked it all up. And why. ...
