Not really. There's no recovering the sand which washed away into the ocean. Sure, they can truck in more sand, but it has to come from somewhere else and the next big storm could scrape that right away again.

@@jnharton All beaches in Florida are man made. They constantly have to bring in more sand every so often or the beaches would disappear. The reason why they keep doing it is because of tourism. If they did not have beach, less tourists could come to Florida.
